The first 2 weeks of dec was very quiet for me, especially the 2nd, this week my phone was very busy but I was so stressed and unwell that I had to cancel all of my appointments
Now I am off on holiday and back in mid jan just to pay my tax

I've only seen 1 client and made a measly $200 this whole week. For a 26 y/o single escort who lives alone. Not great

I'm just like, this is so frustrating. I don't know how it is in Europe, but EVERY SINGLE COMMERCIAL on TV is all about the next holiday sale, shopping, Christmas, etc. Yet, me being an escort in the business, I'm not seeing a splurge of business. People just tell me how low they are on money  >

I like Christmas, and it feels good to listen to the music and celebrate the birth of Christ...but I HATE the capitalism of it. We have to sit and suffer, while the stores rake in millions and billions from our would-be clients 

I have found January to be quite quiet but normally enough bookings to tick along. It's February thats notorious for being dead from what I've heard from lots on this site

My area was manic between Xmas and New Yeary (east mids) pity I had to cancel so many appointments as I had a terrible cold!

Touring two weeks in my second my phone is dead today only had one booking jeez. Up until now it has been good, maybe they spent most of thier wage already.

I am getting a slow but steady trickle of two or so a day. The phone is quieter but that means less time wasters and I'm not going home empty-handed. It's OK, really!

Personally I have been quite surprised at how much interest there has been this month.  I have found business quite buoyant.

However a few were waiting to see me from December and I only meet c 5 guys weekly so not looking for loads and loads.

Jan has not been to bad for me either.  Put my prices up and changed my marketing, will continue to put them up until I hit a ceiling...so happy with the way things are going.

What did you do to change your marketing? Advertise on different sites?

I know for me I'm keeping my rates up a bit and took away half hours. I'm going for $200/hr...but it's still dead. This whole week I've only made 1 client for a measly $120. Last week I think I seen 3 clients and that was only $450.
 
15 days into the month and no rent this month is paid. I haven't even profited enough to pay anything. I keep telling my friends, they are going to make me go there. They is the lack of clients, and There is putting my things in storage and getting the hell away from here. But I don't want to be a gypsy again. But at the same time, it's pushing me in that direction. I'm not getting enough clients in my area.

Someone told me awhile ago, "how can you not get anything in a total metro area of 2 million". I'm just like, I DON'T KNOW! How can I explain that? When craigslist people constantly complain about "there's too much free stuff going around". Ads are dead and no one is calling or emailing. There's 2 million people not paying me today, that's all it means!
