I didn't have time to scratch my own arse this time last year and I'm afraid I've gone and counted my chickens before they hatched    It's pretty dire for me too.  Gutted!  The weather has been awful so that might of had a huge part in it.  I'm also hoping I'll be bombarded with bookings in the next day or two!  Fingers crossed!

for me (in Amsterdam) it's busy times. Just like last year. I provide femdom (light) and GFE and getting lots of emails. Mostly 2-hour bookings. Also clients from a long time ago wanting to see me before Christmas.
So I am not complaining and saving for Jan/Feb when it will probably be quiet.

I think the money in escorting isnt what it used to be. 8 years ago I could easil make triple of what I make now.
Don't get me wrong, the money can still be great with the right advertising and a bunch of regulars. The money can also be brilliant one month but awful the next. This unreliabilty and the fact so many of us are hardly getting any bookings anymore suggests escorting isnt actually much better money than working in a normal 9-5 low salary job.
The best way to avoid severe stress from lack of money in these hard times Is to get a part time job. You could earn ?700 a month just from working 3 days a week and you could then still escort on days off. Might take the pressure off if we all have that security blanket to pay rent and bills

The market has become super saturated and will only get worse, especially in my opinion with the new laws the government have introduced, where new e.u immigrant can't get benefits for 3 months/6 month payment stops e.t.c Plus now people are hearing the U.K is coming out of recession  more people will coming looking for work.

The is hope. In every ecosystem there will be growth to the point it can't be sustained anymore, it will decline. In other words, soon there will be sooo many escorts, that the income will become so low (supply and demand) that many escorts won't see it as a worthwhile income, many will look for alternative income. Just a thought.

Just hold on, the second income is a good idea, saving while in good times is very important.

Not everybody coming from Eastern Europe will wish to do escort work.

Also not every guy wishes to see them, each to their own.

I think it will still affect us but not as badly as you think - I hope!

I was thinking of part time reception type work. The money isn't great (probably only earn ?800 a month max for 3 full days work) but it would take huge pressure off my shoulders as it would mean rent and bills are definitely covered.
I could then do the escorting for 2 days a week and earn another 2000 a month or so.

With the vast increase in working girls over the past few years and a similar number of guys between this ever increasing number of girls working, I think many girls have thought along the same lines.

I've noticed more and more 'ethnic' aka Black escorts in my area...and when I first moved here 3 years ago there were hardly none but maybe 1 or 2. And I live in a part of the country where there generally aren't much in the way of ethnic escorts to choose from for a span of over 700 miles in all directions.

I used to have a handful of regulars, but many of them I don't hear from, but I have picked up some better paying ones over the months, but I've lost just as many. It'd help if I had BOTH of them. But it's hard to tell if it's just run it's course, or if they are seeing different guys.

I had 1 regular even ASK ME about 2 other guys, as in some sort of referral. He did see me again after that, but it demonstrates what's happening. I'm seriously considering relocating, and I also plan to leave the business in the near future.

That's the key. I feel we're in that phase right now. But, even though here in the US they are touting a rebounding economy, lower gas prices, etc...it hasn't fixed anything yet.

I was just in Florida for 3 weeks earlier this month, where the cost of living is fairly high. Yet, I'm in Western USA with lower prices   for gas and groceries and overall cost of living, yet business is no better here than it was there.

It may take a good 3-5 years for the 'ecosystem' to rebound. I don't know if I can afford to wait that long.
