I have not got any ads at the moment, my money is really tight right now

Work is so quiet, not sure if its just me or because its because Xmas is round the corner
Initially i thought it might be my location and wanted to tour but not sure if it will be a waste of time.

I have noticed a drop many have to put there money else where for thier families is my conclusion. But today had a three hour booking so can't complain.

I just think the money isn't as great in escorting as it used to be.
More and more clients are probably struggling to fund their lives let alone have a spare ?130 for a booking.
I'm ticking along comfortably but I used to earn a lot of money a few years ago and never experienced quite points like this!

Also I fear the escorting world may take a plunge for the worst over the next few years with more and more girls significantly lowering their prices due to desperation of needing money. I've already been thinking today about offering a lower price to my regulars to ensure they keep booking over winter.

OMG, it must be true then. Because that's what happened to me the other night. 2 clients, 2 hotels, 2 outcalls. SAME NIGHT. I was only able to take 1 on them though. I say too it never fails, 2 real clients want to call at around the same time. I don't know why people like to chance their luck like that.

this is THE quietest period I have ever seen in my life!!! was busy as hell this time last year. anyone else experiencing the same frustration? usually my inbox is full and I am turning work away. this last few weeks has seen it fizzle down to hardly any. luckily I got savings but still! Frustrated

It is really quiet out there.

I was thinking it's just me because I am a newbie and need to gain some reputation to get more bookings but that's obviously not the reason.

Just hope I get a couple of bookings before Christmas, think somebody on this site mentioned that December is one of the most busy months of the year.

Might jinx myself here but I've been absolutely fine, I have like a few other established ladies here built up regulars over years and gotten myself known. I also have been used to not seeing client after client - and in my first few years had times when I wasn't consistently available, add this all together and I've been happy with what some might consider moderate levels of income.

In the last 6 months I've become much less 'available', partly as a result of activities around my incall place and because I've gotten involved in things external to my prossying business. At first it was a bit scary but all that's happened is my previous business has concentrated down into the hours and days I have available.

My opinion and advice is to create a solid image, get your own website and stick at it.

Some say reducing rates is the answer, I only ever found that attracted a couple extra faffers and texters who wanted to 'consider' my new rates(oh and could I cram this that and the other in and could I discount any further). At the moment I tend to attract those who really, really do want to see me.

Saying this what works for one might not work for another. All depends.

same here while this Year hasn't been brilliant compared to last year its still not digging ditches in the cold so i cant complain This week has been very very good for me especially the yesterday and today
Im going off touring from mid next week though for 2 week then home for xmas then another 2week tour then off for 4 week in jan /feb

I find generally that because I'm not as avaiible in my home town as i tour when i am at home its fairly consistent with a lot of regulars and new people so that keeps me ticking over

Would absolutely hate to be starting out in this business now though its way to unpredictable for me

I have found its been an up and down time very recently. Its not that bad but its not quite as busy as I would like it to be. Its always like this leading up the the 2nd week in December here though. I have started already to get some long bookings booked in for next month and I have a feeling its going to be a good christmas, don't know why, just do.

Strawberry is right, if you build up your rep and already limit yourself to a certain number of guys who you are happy to see a day then its not really that hard to meet your target. I have days where I only see a couple of guys for half hour each or a couple for an hour each but other days in the week make up for that.

I wouldn't want to be starting out now either tbh. When I came back into it I was worried no one would even want to see me anymore but its the old chestnut that helps you to get them in and build a rep, advertise advertise advertise and get your name, number and photo everywhere.

Yes, it is quite hard to start off at the moment, I've read through a lot of posts from 2011 and back then it was obviously easy to get decent bookings.

However, I've updated my profile on AW, punterlink, punternet etc. and the bookings are coming in slowly, I am more than happy with that. I have also started to take calls again, which I didn't want to do because I only got weirdos who called in the middle of the night or wanted sex talk, so stopped doing that. I just ignore them now and 2 of the calls I had since yesterday, turned out to be decent and I got 2 bookings

That proofs that even though it's hard at the moment, it can be done with some effort in updating profiles and being more flexible in how to take on bookings (mail, text, calls etc.)
