I'm worried as well. I mean I'm not working yet, but I'm planning to start in January, the most dead period. I'm not sure if it's good idea. Any advise, ladies?

Dunno whats happened in my area today but I have had 1 yes 1 call today, have called my number in case lines were down, but no they are working ok and my ads are all active as well...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Paris I am based in Co Meath Ireland, am about 30 - 45 mins from Dublin so usually busy enough and lol at your "men cant go that long without sex!!"

I've never found January especially quiet, and when I have worked rather than taken time off it it's been OK. February has always been when it dips for me, although last year it wasn't that bad either bar the usual half term week.

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone else is finding it quiet at the moment? I have been working from home and been finding it quiet. I was going to go on tour to Cambridge today and the phone wasnt ringing anymore than it does when working at home so I decided not to go as I didnt want to waste money and I was wondering if anyone else is finding it quiet at the moment? Does anyone know any good areas to go to?

Yes i think it is really quiet at the moment, i don't know whats happening out there, last year on this time i would've made easy 5-600 a day, now I'm struggling to make 400 a day, something that i find it very strange, in the start i toughed that was because I've been away for a couple of months  and i lost lots of clients, but this is going on for a while now. Plus i get sometimes one of the days when everybody wants to come in( like is something in the air making every man horny  :-\ )and after 3 days dead...

Wish i knew any good areas to work but doesn't seem to be any left, good luck finding a good place x

Thanks for replying. Well 5-600 a day is pretty good!! I find when I work at home some days I have zero days which is really crap and sometimes if I am lucky I might get one or two a day but thats nothing compared to 500 a day. I have had the odd day where I have earned 500 a day in areas but it doesnt seem to be guaranteed every day. I have found Exeter to be good for work and have had one or two days there where I have got close to 500.

I am not sure why its quiet at the moment. I was going to go to Cambridge today but the last few times I have been there its been quiet. I have only made 600 there in 3 days and thats before taking money out for expenses and my phone wasnt ringing any more there than what it was at home so I thought its a pointless going there as the phone be ringing more and less especially when you have expenses on tour to think about.

I think its important to keep things in perspective - a lot of girls would think themselves lucky to earn ?400 a day, some are getting by on only a few bookings a week in this economic climate.  Also ?400 pw is more than some in civvy street earn in a week, let alone a day.

Even in a bad week I count my blessings that I do this job and am not stuck earning a pittance in an office like I used to.

I agree with the above comment,  when I get bored and work is slow I just try and remember the days when I would work a whole month for what I get now for just a few hours work,  it keeps me grounded and makes me feel grateful for my lot :)

As they say worse things happen at sea...

I think for me because of my personal situation I need money asap so I hate the fact the phone is not ringing. If there was not so much financial pressure on top of me I think i would be feeling much better about the whole thing and thanking my very lucky stars I am able to do the job I am doing.

Here someone in Amsterdam! Hardly had clients for the past 3 weeks. I searched the internet to see if there were any negative reviews about me. None. I don't know what's happening. I have a civy job, so I shouldn't complain. But have you girls experienced a sudden unexplainable drop in clients? And did it pick up after a month or so? Last year I was quite busy leading up to Christmas.

Hi curvygirl, hope it will soon pick up! Have you tried putting up new ads? Under a new name and new pics. Ik refreshed some pics an hour ago and got a few requests. Still have to wait and see if they are no timewasters. But at least I get response again.
