It's been so slow this month. Kid you not I've only come across 2 or 3 clients the entire month. I've been getting lots of inquiries but nothing has been going anywhere.

It's starting to drive me nuts...people have been emailing and calling making appointments and still nothing. Seen a couple of regulars and 1 new guy. I hate when people start playing these games like this. I'm 13 days behind my rent right now. I created a new website last week, but nothing has taken off.

It's almost become like an escort Apocalypse...Everytime someone messages me they keep saying my prices are too much and all I'm asking for is like $100-150 bucks as a discount. I'm not going to be charging 40-80 bucks for a session as that'll get me nowhere.

I'm running really thin, and have to go to the doctor tomorrow. I need a quick fix but nothing is coming in!

In Uk escorting is getting worst and worst. Agencies have a lot of girls and this make problem to the competition. For them is ok cause if they have many girls they can have preety good incoms but what about us like independents? I am really planning to visit Uk but i dont know where to start advertising.... I have lot of experience in Greek city tour market and i could help if any girl wanna tour there. . .

This month for me has been very slow in Reading. There are a lot of girls here, however it's not normally a problem.
I haven't even heard from my regulars, I'm just assuming that it because Xmas isn't far away.
I'm just trying out different areas this week as its a pain waiting around for the phone to ring!

Doubt it since I'm in south east (reading in Berkshire)
I work monday through to friday and normally my bookings are consistent, but this October has been tough.
I tried slough last friday instead, and my phone was hot, so it's very strange. Strange but frustrating.
Today has been my quietest day in ages, but this month has been very slow anyway :(

I always find this time of year a little slower than the rest. I put it down to all the students returning/starting uni. Lots of new profiles pop up and also lots of student timewasters asking for discounts and quickies. Come November it will all be back to normal :) (I hope!) x

I tried Woking today and saw 6 clients (but only 1 was for 1 hour)
A lot off effort for not a great amount of money, after fuel and paying for the room- but much better than what I have been making in reading lately.
I'm in caversham, rush hour time is generally always dead.
Maybe this area is getting saturated, lots of girls tour here and more EE's working here x

AW used to be so good, mixture of timewasters and good ones.
I must say since I signed up for alerts from AW, so as to see my competition, most alerts of new ladies have the red alert attached to them.
I can easily see why clients are put off and dont trust Adultwork with so much negative selling by them. Putting myself in my clients eyes, it is so easy to assume that all the profiles are fake

Plus, I just wonder if Adultwork is getting blocked by ISP's as the government want them to do for such sites and the guys do not realise it, be it at home or work
I know you can contact the ISP to unblock you but will these married guys or those at work actually do that, even if they can ?

We do know actually; Adultwork (and other adult sites) is blocked by parental control/family friendly filters which most people have elected to switch off and recent changes meant that people now have to actively opt out or have them switched on by default.

It was in the news a few weeks ago, and even in the event that Adultwork was shut down all together it would take an awful lot more than that to shut down an industry that has existed for as long as people have, so I wouldn't worry :).

Hi Amy, this is nothing to do with parental controls etc etc, I had a letter from my ISP stating that all adult sites would be blocked to me unless I contact them to remove the filter, as I live by myself it was no problem and the point I make is will married guys who use escorts tell their ISP to remove the filter or will the letter be read by his wife ??

Will companies where guys (employees) search and book escorts say YES to the filter removed, I think not

It maybe the oldest business in history but without the right exposure it will no longer work, phone boxes, illegal, newspapers, they dont allow so it all now relies on the net, and if blocked by ISP's the future looks very bad

Actually that's exactly what I was talking about and we already have a thread about it from when it was current here.

If you want to discuss that topic (and 'adult' sites encompass things lots of people who are not prostitutes or interested in prostitutes look at, like gambling and porn) please post in that thread rather than this one :).
