I agree with ParisB...its the porn. I honestly don't know how porn stars are making any money (and they probably don't know how we're making any money either lol...unless they do both). There's so much free gay porn out there, and the internet is just filled with them.

Guys watch porn, beat off...and their desire to hire an escort is suppressed a bit unless they really have the money to spend. Everything just seems different now. It's hard to tell because you think nobody wants to hire or have money to hire, but then let a natural disaster occur and then guys start coming out the woodwork! It's happened twice this year. One was a tornado ravaged town and the other destroyed by floods. Guys realize that life can vanish in a second and start blowing money lol. I'm going to start keeping an eye on the news for now on and travel to areas where these occur. Usually, it's rarely the entire city...rather small outskirt locations away from the city. Unless it's a hurricane...

Whenever I've looked back amongst feedback of guys who appear to be TW, or at least never quite get around to booking, I see fresh webcam feedback - all saying what a lovely person they are................even worse there'll then be a negative from a lady they dicked around(and I believe it because I've already sussed them out as a TW). Really don't know why these guys need to do this (the TW thing), I'm in that sort of mood where I might actually confront a few people this week!

It is so true as well. Fortunately or unfortunately we are pretty light on natural disasters on this side of the atlantic.

I had very good time in February this year! Maybe because a lot of u think it will be bad time so take holiday......but its true that me n my friend we were around Inverness in winter time n was very good! After we come there in April n was very bad.....my other friend she was there in January n good n second time in April as well n she left second day.....so maybe here is good only in winter time...or we had just luck...who knows....just wait what say this winter....

Tell me about it! I've just started back again after summer and I'm looking at 1 or 2 outcalls a week which tbh will keep me ticking over okay since I only do this part time anyway but I've a lot of money to pay out soon in rent ect and I'm just so eager to get money by me. Also, I had 5 potential bookings over the past week for various dates and all of them cancel on the "Can you give me your full name so I can check you're actually at the hotel?" thing. I don't think they were TWs either, just be must used to seeing ladies that don't do checks like that. I pray for my regulars to get their finances back on track after expensive summers!!

Hi, very new here but have been reading posts for a long time.

I had a booking via back page, first for over a week, he was a nice guy, no problems there but he did ask me where else I advertised, and of course my main place is adultwork. He said he was now wary to use AW as it was full of scams and he had a few bad experiences of late.

I was just wondering if AW has now lost the plot as my profile is deadly slow, oh plenty of timewasters and so called photographers looking for freebies but no genuine guys

AW is now going slower and slower, though this doesn't usually happen if you are new.

With so much unemployment in the UK and so many foreign visitors not being able to find work many are turning to prostitution and causing massive problems to others by saturating the market. No one is a winner.

True but I still think it's possible to do ok, so long as you put a bit of effort in - into marketing, advertising, website & image.

So im trying out independent. I advertized myself all over myproviderguide, backpage, and i have my own website. And TER. Granted its only been 2 days lol but im so impatient

You need to advertise yourself/site in even more places. Takes a good while for a website to become useful in terms of clients finding it via a web search rather than an advertising platform.

Google terms that relate to you, such as "blonde busty escort new york milf" (whatever would describe you and what you think clients will be using to google for an escort like you) and add your link/info to ALL the directories that appear on at least the first 2 pages.
