Paris you have TOTALLY misunderstood me. I'm not saying that girls with no regular feedback are doing shit at all. I'm saying that I believe a lot of ladies such as yourself are still doing CONTINUALLY very well this is my point.

I'm just trying to give some constructive advice and to look at other options instead of blaming it on the weather and god knows what else all the time, that was all!

Kylie, the whole point of this thread is for people to have a moan - we put it all together so we don't have fifteen different threads on the board all about the same thing. Save the advice for when people ask for it, if this discussion irritates you, just don't read it.

We are in hard times and many business's are suffering BUT in basic terms there will always be a demand for escorts,as there will always be a demand for plumbers if your sink is blocked lol or a roofer if your roof is leaking. Men are much the same as a leaking roof, they need satisfying, and if they are not getting what they want they will book us.The market is flooded with new girls but I still think there is enough togo around if you are good at what you do, and I don't just mean the sex bit, clients recognise a great service and will return, that's the key in my experience anyway.

Sorry Amy and I get that. I just honestly thought it would be more positive to look at other ways of actually improving ones business. I suffer quiet times just like everyone else, however I try and think of what I can do to for it to improve.

I think the thing is, your profile could be tip top, your advertising could be fabulous but it's normal to sometimes have droughts, business is not going to be a constant. If girls started slashing their prices every time they'd have a dry spell we'd all be charging about 2p an hour. Besides often it's dangerous if an escort sees herself at fault too much when business is slow that's when people start considering doing things they're not comfortable with or coming across too aggressive with clients, sometimes worrying is counterproductive in business.

My business has been awful lately I started things from scratch and instead of getting an influx for being new I've had nada for a whole week except tws, I panicked dropped my prices a bit (I'd recently raised them quite high) and tried to stop checking my inbox constantly and thankfully things are back to normal, I usually get about 4 or 5 clients a week which is probably a lot less than most but I work in a small area, offer limited services and I don't take last minute bookings a lot of the time so I miss out, I also suffer from depression so take unplanned amounts of time off and I've been very ill lately. I could take this all personally and think wow I'm the worst escort ever I'm doing everything wrong. If I did that I'd not even leave my bed, I'm sure with time as I gain more confidence I'll get better at organising clients, maintaining my client base and taking last minute bookings more. I'm young I live alone I find it very hard to motivate myself so if I analysed my business all the time like you suggest I'd give up.

Well I finally managed to get something today. Had a 1 hour booking, got another offer but unfortunately had to turn it down cause of being at my normal job but glad I finally got a booking. Also got a booking tomorrow for just 45mins but its better than nothing and hopefully get another booking tomorrow at some point. I'll feel like I've salvaged the week if I do lol x

I had a lot of sameday enquiries today, however last night with no advance bookings lined up and Fridays usually fairly quiet - plus I have some personal stuff right in the middle, I decided to commit to getting some other personal things out the way. First enquiry was for a time I didn't have advertised available for bookings anyway due to the original personal thing which ruled out bookings at a particular time today, next one was just too late to change the other thing I'd decided to do (I don't/won't go mucking other businesses about over a possible booking, it's not fair - I know only too well what it's like when someone chops and changes). Then finally right at the last minute when I've now gone ahead with the commitments, and am not prepared for a booking afterwars someone phones 'just passing'.

Other Friday's the phone just hasn't twitched all day!

Ah well, weekend is here.

Yes, Ive noticed of late too that Fridays weren't what they used to be so had decided to take today off in the run up to a family weekend .... what happens .... guys called last night for bookings for today .... so I told to confirm in the morning, totally expecting them not to .... wrong again.  Ive had a day of being wrong ..... but a purse full of notes so I'll not complain.  I cant say it is the heat either as it is still cold here.

hi i always wanted to ask about this...
do booking really work ? i never dealt with long term bookings, and normally say to people to give me one hour notice,,, depending of my committment at the time of their call.
Does i work for most of you?
thanx

I find advance bookings are very unreliable in my experience so very much prefer same day bookings.

Conversely I do not accept same day bookings, have been booked up completely a few weeks in advance a few weeks and never had a cancellation in 3 months. Then the other week I fancied working on my scheduled day off...2 cancellations in a row. Go figure.

I've never found advance bookings to be reliable hence me telling them to call back today but like I said previously I was wrong in this instance.

I think it's up to the individual and more where they are located too.
