I thought feb would be busy first week after pay day but NO!!! I had one  lovely client monday luckily but if its too quiet on friday shall have to leave if for a while as have other stuff needs doing!

Jan was it and miss for me, as for most of it I was on my period, so could only offer a limited service which put some off understandably.  This month has been dead.  I've had plenty of calls the last few weeks for bookings, only for none of them to confirm on the day, not to mention the amount of weirdos I've had ring for a booking and for my own sanity and safety declined them.  I've had 2 today already. One of which was asking if I would do an hours booking for ?100 and then he would supply me with loo rolls to make up the rest, then he started rambling on about marketing, and not making any sense what-so-ever.  I just hung up in the end as he wouldn't take no for an answer. 
I had planned to start saving this year, but I've been scuppered already, and what I have managed to save is now going on food and bills. 
If it's like this next year I think I just might take half of Jan and Feb off, and save myself the stress of dealing with weirdos and those who had no intention of confirming their bookings.

I really hope it gets better soon.

Did he go on about marketing as well?  And that he was a company that supplied loo rolls to other companies. The whole conversation wasn't making much sence and you had to figure out that thats what he wanted?

I ve met him before he did that. he brought me wet wipes and he talked to me face to face about loo rolls and supplying them..the meeting was really ok as he is an obedient sub, but he got cheeky afterwards when wanted to book and hassled for the prices....I declined, of course, but he is was respectful in flesh...still, I can't take it when someone tries to bargain...

He was really hard work on the phone.  As I said he just didn't seem to make any sense, and I had to figure out that he did actually want a booking rather than trying to sell me loo rolls or marketing.  It was really bizarre.  It was as if the converation started in the middle worked it's way to the beginning and then I ended it.  I figured if he was this much hard work on the phone what on earth would he be like face to face.  I didn't want to take the chance, not to mention that I made it clear several times that I don't barter, my prices are non negotiable.
Obviously if you've seen him before then I suppose it's not really an issue, if you know what he's like.
