If by sauna you mean brothel ive worked in a few and its all cash your not really employed you just turn up to your shift or you dont. some places make you sign daft 'contracts' and take a photocopy of ur id but thats it in my experience. And no one ever mentioned paying to tax to me x

In all fairness, I think lots of people coming to the UK isn't just putting pressure on escorts but loads of other sectors of work also.
I do think there are lots of other factors too due to decrease in work other than just more people in the UK.
It is just how the current situation is, nothing we can do to change a slow earning week, have to just go with it and work around it best way possible like all of the other people in other areas of work in a similar situation.

Did two hours yesterday so already have my weekly target. Two hours in one day is a busy day for me, but I have never had my phone ring that much so thank God I am able to work low profile.

Depends where you work in Manchester and surrounding areas the police ,tax .social security go in the parlours and have done for ever YOU HAVE TO HAVE COPIES OF PASSPORTS for non BRITISH STAFF and give them to the police to show they have the right to work they are getting more strict on it .

The girls who work (us) are self employed and responsible for own tax ..................some of the receptionists/ managers are employed by the Saunas and have wage slips PAYE AND NI

They all abide by certain rules as in no smoking in the building have to have fire certificates/extinguishers etc ect as they do get checked up on.

Ive worked in quite a few in the north west it is mainly english girls and yorkshire is mainly foriegn girls ive only ever seen the police come to one in yorkshire when a client attacked the security guy, i think they turn a blind eye they didnt speak to any of the working girls but yeah the receptionists are actually on the payroll but they have that many girls coming for one shift then never to be seem again it wouldnt make sense for the parlours to pay ur tax, but in parlous ive never met any working girl that does pay tax and it is shit money so i dont blame them and yes most of them are no smoking but have a smoking area or you can smoke in the girls room some places r really strict others u can do whatever an i mean whatever you want xx

I think it would be a good thing if saunas were made to tightened everything up so any girl found on the premises must have given them paperwork to show she is legal to work. Maybe a national security number, UK bank details and a copy of her passport.
Shut down the fly by night illegal saunas who don't abide by health and safety also residential premises obviously being used by multitudes of escorts and their pimps.
To stay on subject of slow today it was ok yesterday I'm now halfway to my weekly target (god bless regulars) but its dead today with no calls as yet it would be nice to get one in today though.

I don't normally put my number up as I have a day job and very limited availability. But last weekend had some free time so put on AT and phone number showing...I was inundated with calls could have easily done double the bookings I accepted so a very successful weekend for me.

I will definitely be doing that in future.

Yes I don't work Tuesdays but thought I would display my number and lo and behold quite a few calls.

I am out Tuesday mornings but can easily answer calls or take bookings after 1 p.m. so will keep it on all week on show in future.

I have never been AT and manage well with the number of bookings I want but understand those who need or require high volume bookings it can be beneficial.

I only need one more hour and my weekly target will be reached. Not yet half way through the week yet though so looks like I may do well.

my phone was not completely dead...but i didn t get booking yet! i had an old client that push for BB...

i didn t menace him yet but if he still do i ll go the police. he text on whatapps, sms, call! he is married with family.
i do not know if i should say to the police or his wife.
yes, i am sure if i am starting to cook my broccoli...some client call last minute! ahahah
nevermind i think that i lost my mood today! 2 days out are not so bad but really hoping it come back as i was 1 week ago!

Yes Helen, but that applies to ALL industries. There's a lot of explotation and trafficking (illegal workers being brought to the UK with false promises) in the agricultural industry, nails salons, construction, factories and domestic workers. They work in deplorarable conditions, get payed shyte money and treated like cattle. and they can't go to the police an complaint because they're illegal here and too scared. For some reason the media only talks about explotation in the sex industry because sex sells a lot and the agriculture industry doesn't.
