I had a busy August but I'm having a slow September. I know someone who works at Heathrow airport who told me it's been then busiest month of the year, so me thinks that people are going on holidays in September nowaday. Hotel/plane tickets are considerably cheaper and people can take longer vacations. I guess september is the new August (?)

"September, the traditional kick-off to peak business travel season"!

Uncannily Slow here as well! All advanced bookings for either the end of September or  the beginning of October. Took today off for a bit of TLC.

The past  four weeks have been the best ever. Today the phone started at 8:30 and never stopped. I could have done twice as many but called it a day about four o'clock.
Be in your happy place

It's been a disappointing September although I was very busy all summer.

I'm hoping it picks up from Sunday when I hit the road again  :D

yesterday was dead except for one one time wasting walk and an out call request which I regrettably  declined due to having paid money for a hotel. On the positive I manage to gleam some good info on the area. The taxi driver not only complained about it being dead for a Friday but said for my particular town, Friday regardless of the year was always bad. Told me what his busiest days were and they seemed to tally with mine. So Fridays will now be my chill days.  :)

Yes I fine Fridays to be really slow as well. and also weekends. But fridays are definately the slowest for me. Hence why I rarely work on Fridays. So I have a longer weekend ;D

Yes September has been quite weak financially for me also.  However after a hectic July and August it is welcome in a way so I can catch up with my head.

Oddly enough Fridays are generally quite busy my end even though I can only do a short day then I am more or less guaranteed at least a 30 mins. booking and often turn away one or two others beyond that.

I anticipate October being busier for most of us.  Cheery news for us!  :)

Well I made half of what my upper target was supposed to be, but that serves me right for a) booking 4 solid tours when I've never done more than two short ones in a month and b) booking 4 solid tours in a month meaning I'm working for most of the month, completely forgetting about the fact that I menstruate and c) to be quite honest, not considering that I'd probably burn out.

Because I think I have. Thankfully it's not a career-ending burnout nor is it a "I really demand a holiday" one (because I'd be absolutely fucked with Green conference starting today and uni starting straight after), but I will welcome this break over the next few days and possibly a week or so after that because taking outcalls while I settle into second year doesn't sound wise.

Boy am I pissed off with punters though, literally absolutely sick of some of them and the way they have been treating me. This month I've had my boundaries absolutely pushed to their limit, punters doing "innocent" things I don't offer and therefore didn't consent to, punters giving me the impression they're GFE as fuck and then turning up expecting the most PSE and traumatic roleplay this side of Daddy/Daughter porn. Usually the bad is balanced out by the good but I can only remember a handful of lovely ones.

It hasn't been brilliant, but I'm now only two more grand away from the tax threshold so I'm happy about that as I'll almost definitely meet it before April. Then I'll be one fifth of my way onto the UK considering me human. ;D

Anyway time to go and party with the hippies, see you all in a few days.

The first week of September was OK for me, but then it's just died. I'm hoping for a last-minute rally...

For Irish tours this happens a lot.
Timewasters rush to ring on first day.

So I used to say I was there a day before I got
there....to flush out the timewasters.
I never answered the phone on that 'fake' day.

Then when you get there you can focus on the genuine callers.

I missed this earlier when i was on my phone.

I have done that in the past, tested it the day before and then made a definite decision the following day, but like I say I was sooooo sure of this place.

I'm convinced it's a school fees thing, (I have to tell myself something).  A lot of people are complaining so maybe that's it?

School fees due August so that's a possibility.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

What % of guys pay school fees though.  If they have enough money to send children to private schools surely they aint that skint they cant afford to visit a prossie?

Remember too on run up to 28th of month its sometimes quieter as many people get paid then.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.
