I think it is slow and quiet, it usually is around this time of the year. Everyone goes on holiday when it's the summer to spend time with their familys and it's probably the only time they can take off to go abroad. Plus school holidays.

I've been feeling so crappy about work this past couple of weeks, been soooo slow and been earning next to nothing!

Also self induced panic about never earning cash again and having to give this up.

Obviously not glad to hear that other folks arnt doing so good either but damn I hope it picks up again after the summer holidays!

For me June was Ok'ish...July was slow, begining of august got even slower and the last two weeks have been a horror show ( 3 appointments a week). I've decided I'm not going to go crazy and just chill, go more to the gim, practice my yoga and enjoy the last days of sun. September is around the corner :-)

Lol Ana, 'horror show' just about sums up my last two weeks as well - It's sad to say that I can't wait for August to be over, for the kids to be back at school and everyone to have had their holidays etc so that all the men can come out to play again and book us. I always imagine kids being at home all the time means that wifey/girlfriend notices their fellas movements more and therefore they stay away for the summer.  It got me thinking I need to improve in some way with advertising etc, but this month it really dosen't seem to have made any difference,  no matter how much I've got pro active,  roll on September!

Sound like I picked a great time to start - typical me lol.  The parlour said it had been quiet so some girls are on holiday etc.  Saturday night was busy though due to a group booking ( is this usual? Think was a stag thing or club outing).  Plus so far given the average age I think apart from Saturday  most of the clients I have seen would have kids well past school age!  Does anyone ever go abroad to work during the holidays?

I wouldn't knock it - it'll give you chance to get used to things and you'll be better prepared for when it does get busy. I'm guessing it's mainly to do with school holidays, and as far as I know they're finished in a couple of weeks time  .

If you're thinking of working abroad I would have a look in the Touring section, but since you've just started and haven't done indie work yet I would give it a miss for now, to be honest. You could always try a few places in the UK first - I've been away three times now during the current holidays and was so busy last time I had to take a week off when I got back because I was knackered.

Gone quiet again. Even camming's pretty dead. I can sit there for an hour waiting for a visitor. Then it's difficult to get guys to go private (or even group!), and when they do it's good going if they spend more than ?3 or so credits.

I'm guessing this is the effects of everyone coming back from hols and kids going back to school, and suddenly that August payday doesn't seem to stretch far...

Anyone else finding it slow/quiet?

For what it is worth i have just looked .................you have a multitude of ways for a client to contact you that they all need credits for ......................................( some dont buy them )......xcept email
I only put my number on if i am working or a bit quiet but i find no one uses the booking system  at all with * me * they may email me for the phone number if it is not dispayed.
If i display my number i get a lot more bookings off aw than not displaying as most look at the profile and then jot numbers down to ring you later ( so they say when i have asked them ).
if you put a contact number up and not go through aw you will get a lot more work ( if you dont mind answering phone calls as i dont )....................that is assuming that you dont normally .
