After so many years in this industry, I've stopped trying to make sense of the business levels. Some weeks I know it's going to be quieter than others due to external factors, other weeks I get an unexpected influx of bookings and I can't possible accommodate them all.

I simply write down my financial target for each week and manifest that those bookings will come. Even on the weeks where it looks like it will be a struggle and inquiries are slow, I always get to that target. I've recognised that if I have too much attachment to the figure, and worrying about it, thinking it's not going to happen, then it doesn't.

I was thinking of doing London this weekend however temperatures areb meant to be 32 Degrees very hot !

Do you get less bookings when the weather is so hot ?

Personally I think it brings on the horn.
I'm having a perfectly profitable week in Somerset, apart from the fact that I'm actually melting. I'm taking cold showers every hour.

I worked in Central London Tuesday and it was terrible. I ended up leaving hotel Early.

Have you tried CrazyOz? I haven't been on viva for ages but I did get the odd decent regular from it.

I used to use CrazyOz and at first it was okay then the owner started deleting my ads and claiming I had been reported as fake and he needed verification. Naturally I did a verification face photo and his reply was “That’s not enough” he asked me to do a body picture with the ad number on a piece of paper, I explained to him this isn’t accurate verification as a face photo is so how would it prove I am who I say I am. He told me I either do it or I’ll be banned from posting ads, I didn’t reply and when I checked my ad a few days later it had been deleted and I received an email to say it had been deleted for “Fake photos” and that I had to pay £15 to lift the ban. I tried again months after and my ad was up for a while with no problems, but then he deleted it again claiming it was a “duplicate ad” but it wasn’t as I only had one ad up at the time. I contacted him via the contact form about this and was met with pure aggression that if I don’t follow the rules the police would be involved, not sure what law I broke… I then google the website and found reviews for the website and it turned out I was not the only one who had the same issue.

The site has gone downhill and I don’t think many people get much business from it anymore.

Have you been working in a new area or put a new ad up somewhere Lara - that could explain it? Although I've had no end of numpties texting this week too; I'm guessing they've got a touch of the sun maybe.

I've also had some shocking bookings this last couple of weeks having said that (including a man who requested GFE but then didn't want any kissing or physical contact and just lay there like a dead fish, and a man who took 34 text messages to arrange a completely routine half hour incall) but thankfully they've been punctuated with nice ones.

Writing a blog helps though I don't always know what to write.

Hey, I have a new profile up with no reviews.... I thought being the new girl in town would make me super busy but it has actually backfired. Super slow for me in the city of London the past couple weeks and I keep getting punters that do not have an AW account to leave a review.

Very unpredictable indeed, It's only my regulars that's helping me hit my target when I work which now I've gone down to just 8 days a month. Definitely slower than before covid and during covid, Hardly any new guys or timewasters. Now I am cautious about spending and cutting back on luxuries until things are stable. And I have a good profile with loads of feedback and new pics every 2 weeks so not sure there's more I could do. Don't even think lowering rates would help, But I am blessed with regulars and do 2 bookings on a dud day and can do 6 on a good day. Really hoping next month and towards Christmas picks up.
