Regulars might park in your apartment's space if available, but many new clients wouldn't for their own security.

I  think as long as you can see them arriving in some way then that would be fine .
Parking is down to them and if they aren’t driving some of my clients still come by public transport

Isn't a landmark enough for spotting them Sparkly?
I kinda think that honing your screening and 'kicking out' skills is a more practical and safer bet than compiling car number plates.

I totally don't want clients parking in front of my flat. That kind of visitor activity is catnip to street facing neighbours. I don't think that's discreet at all, too much exposure. Unless you're in an isolated place.

As long as they can walk to the landmark so I can eyeball them that's sufficient.
Most of mine are tube or walk. But if they drive they work out the parking for themselves or I suggest a side street elsewhere.

I would not worry about parking in sight, many will not wish to do this. Also I found quite a few get confused, park in the wrong place, a few drove into bollards, one seriously damaging car. Then pressed the wrong bell or shouted into their phones audibly outside, this drew quite a lot of attention in a quiet location. I would direct to a sight point they can reach on foot, then guide to the keypad. Make directions as simple and clear as possible as if you are outside following directions.

As long as you can see them at a landmark or something then I’m happy.
I do tell my meets to park in a certain space, and I can see it from my window. If they didn’t want to park there(only had 1 so far) they’d need to walk to it. Basically I need to see them before I give my full address.

I do agree with salty, working on so and kicking out skills will be of more benefit than gathering car plates :)

But end of the day, you have to do what makes you feel comfortable to do this :)

Many clients do not want you to see their cars and their registration plates.  Many times you can tell them where to park and they would choose somewhere else.

I had a regular once who I once casually asked why he did not park in my parking space.  He told me that it is a security issue for him as he wasn't sure who was watching my space for whatever reason.  I respected his choice not to park there - no issue.

Agree with others. As long as you can see them in person before they reac your door then the issue of parking should not really crop up.

I have never had an issue with this and has worked fine for me, I do not need to see them before a booking. Besides how would you know it's the right person.

My previous place was a basement flat so couldn't have worked anyway.
