When i first started escorting i imagined myself being able to save loads of money,maybye even enough to put down a deposit on a home of my own,travel to the places i would love to go,etc etc.

However I'm finding the reality very different. Maybye its the current financial climate but I'm finding that by the time Ive paid my rent,bills,bought food,put money away in my ISA for my tax and so on Ive got practically nothing left over to save up.

I don't even think I'm an extravagant person in my spending,i don't spend fortunes on clothes,going out etc. Yet I'm finding myself constantly worrying about money. Even when i manage to get a bit of money saved up and put aside a bill seems to come in or the car needs fixing etc and wallop its nearly all gone again.

Is anyone else finding the same thing? (without getting too personal about people finances) or am i the only one shopping in Primark whilst everyone else lounges on their barker and stonehouse furniture in their sable coats wearing La Perlas finest?

Hmmm you could be right Violette about me spending more than i realise. I am going to to keep a diary of everything i spend next week and see how much money im going through.

But i honestly think hand on heart that i spend less on myself now than i did when i had a 'normal' job. However i lived at home then cos there was no way i could have afforded to live in my own place. So perhaps even the fact that ive got my independence now is testament to how much more money im earning. Its just that paying all the bills etc that really eats into my money

When i lived at home i spent far more on make up,face creams etc than i do now. I didnt think beauty products were worth buying unless you had to go upto a counter and ask the lady behind it to get your purchase down off the shelf! Ahhhhh those were the days

Ugh...girlfriend I feel ya. (although that last line made me laugh). I dont know Im just reading the advices myself because I ask the same questions some days. I'm no financial expert but just fromn experience of dealing with these things, I'd say stuff like car needs fixing, groceries, healthcare etc are all important things. Of course some would suggest you 'get rid of the extras, including cars' but some things you arent willing or simply cannot give away. And you'll be surprised to know most of the cash is going into those little things that add up (or big things also, like rent  . For example, a trip to the pharmacy this week costed nearly 40 bucks. And it was only for mouth care! (except the bottle of lube I bought 

My opinion: I prefer to have the bills paid, car running, and hygiene in check than to have a savings right now. Why? So if something breaks or you get sick...you gonna have to pull it out of savings anyway. And where did that savings come from? Money you made from escorting. No point in saving if you dont have the funds available for everyday stuff. There are some people out there that dont make enough off of escorting alone every single week, whether it be because of location, type and all sorts of factors. Having a 2nd income from somewhere to have savings/emergency funds is the next option.

Similar to the thing Violette/Trafford mentioned surely have to watch the coins. In my opinion, it doenst matter whether its cash or a card as one can get just as carried away swiping bank cards as they can spending cash. And cash doesnt take 2 or 3 days to withdraw from your account so you have it all there. There's been times I've had to count cash at the mall after I leave every store. Its all there, just have to work it out 

Most of my overspending is on food. It costs me a lot more than if I lived on frozen meatburgers and packet crap, but then if I did I would look like shite and have no customers, so I think it's worthwhile.

Hello! same here. Im addicted to the meat/seafood isle as to maintain my muscle mass...and last weekend I spent alot on an 'extreme' protien supplement LOL. More protien supplements and less meat is the 'environmentally friendly' way so I should spend less time in that section anyway... Groceries are another little spend, big add up thing. For me I find it hard to stay under a certain amount...I dont fair well off the light stuff.

Amy is dead on - WGs are showering several times a day, keeping all the towels laundered as well as many sets of bedding. Temperature has to be kept at one that means it's comfortable lying around naked too.

Regards clothing it's stockings I find that really make a dint - probably about ?30 worth a week. Regards food - often because time is limited during the day, getting to bookings etc it's so easy to just grab a sandwich which also saves on washing up. As an ex athlete I have however had experience of high-protein diets and they really don't have to be that expensive. I'm a fan of cottage cheese, chicken fillets and fresh fish which can be sourced locally.

Joey have you researched into how much it costs to produce those supplements, the packaging and clean up of the by/waste products and what the carbon footprints of those factories are?
and compared it to the cost of breeding, keeping and slaughtering livestock?

I don't know it either, but I wouldn't be too sure you can claim it is more emvironmentally friendly.

Regards stockings, no they range from ?3-6 a pair and I find they often don't last a full appointment. Sometimes I'll ladder on putting them on or last week caught them twice with the stilletto heel of the shoes I was carrying downstairs.

Do what I do, put a couple more holes in your stockings, slap on some red lippy and tell them you're going for the tarty look.
