I'm in SE London too and a general ad in VS costs ?60 and all I got in a month was one lady (3rd ever), one new man and a man who saw me on VS years ago yet I was getting 15 to 20 calls a day and just didn't like the sound of any of them but maybe I was just being too picky but I did try to like them!

Ace and AW are ok for me though.

That has pretty much been my experience, too. I'll get my money back (although I'm not sure I did last month) but that's about it.I turn the vast majority of them away.

I'm sorry that has just happened to you - it's an awful feeling. :(

I'm not normally one to advocate being a glutton for punishment, but maybe if you asked them via a text very nicely what was wrong they'd be more likely to tell you?

That's what I meant, maybe send them a text after they've walked out, that you're genuinely want to know what the problem was and why he walked out so you can do something about it, it might take a few attempts (like the "puncture" one  ???), but maybe you'll get one that will tell you the real reason, coz it's a mystery to me..
Try not to let it get to you, there must be a reason for it.. ?!

That's just bullshit, I take it he knew your rates before he booked you? And seen your pics or he wouldn't have made the booking?
I would keep asking, maybe you'll eventually get an honest answer..
Coz unless you don't look anything like your pics it just doesn't make any sense..

Maybe that's the way forward, if they go through the trouble of booking through the AW system they're obviously genuine and I'd
be very, very surprised if they'd walk out..!!
Plus it's a chance to build up your feedback.
Glad you had a good day, and may the walk-outs be a thing of the past..!!  :)

I had one direct walk out in 8 years.

That was on a day when I knew I was absolutely spot on, couldn't have faulted me, ok might have been a pound or two less than my last photos, but I knew I was on excellent form that day, not a hair out of place and my property was tip top.

There was a clue when the man made the booking, he really 'barked' at me, I put it down to his mannerisms and possible nerves. He arrived wearing shades (sunny day), fiddling with his phone, hardly looked at me before turning around and shooting off.

Not a clue what that was about.

There we go again: just got a call from this guy, he asked if it would be ok to just come and t look and he would only stay if he liked me..I said NO.

Well, at least he was honest about it but I forgot to ask where he got my number from as  was really pissed of by my previous experiences.

Lol, what an utter knob!!!

Its happened to me a couple of times, feel for you hun x First time was an outcall to his home and he literally turned me away like i was selling double glazing or something.  I was more pissed about wasting my taxi fair than anything else though!!

I've also had the "i forgot my wallet" line - yeah, whatever love  :FF

Perhaps they are just voyeurs & you've been extremely unlucky in the area you are working or it's something like how you've worded your profile.  You mention a drunk guy sounding guy. I'd personally refuse a drunk person. What on earth does "puncture" mean? Is it another stupid thing from the urban dictionary. Sounds like he was so wasted he couldn't have got it up anyway. Maybe he needed to change his Tyre & couldn't spare the time to see you so called in to tell you but forgot in his drunken state to actually say the words!?!  They can never seem to remember where they found your details unless a seasoned pro on AW I've found too. Very annoying.

Many thanks Lea.
I hope you are ok.
It's so peculiar.

My walkout rate is one every 3 months.
And I usually get a 90% feeling that they are fussy or over-enthusiastic,
but I let them in cause I have a gap in my day so don't loose anything.
