Are you saying you want to avoid putting cash through the bank in order to hide your income, and thus evade taxation?

I very much doubt anyone here is going to give you any advice along those lines. Having large quantities of cash around, ie not banked is also a security risk too.

Most people these days pay rent via standing order, I'd be very careful only having just enough, by the due date in a rent account. If anything goes wrong, or you are ill/can't get to the bank/standing order is taken a day or two early(which it can during certain months), you can end up having a lot of hassle, plus being charged by your bank.

You say you have found your dream place, so how has the landlord expressed he'd like paying?

why should you not pay any tax??  yes its a pig but there are only 2 certainties in life and they are tax and death!  :P

everyone who pays tax whilst escorting has the worry of bills and rent, and we just have to make sure we are ahead of the game and doing all we can to support ourselves (and sometimes families) and then also save for tax bill

if you are banking lots of money cash, the bank can/will report you to the tax office, and they have the right to check your accounts without your permission, you will have to explain and have proof of where you got it from - this is something to keep in mind also!

I certainly hope so. Nobody will be encouraging you to commit illegal acts on this forum - out of interest, why do you think the rest of the members here (not to mention those in civvy street earning minimum wage) should pay out more of their earnings to subsidise freeloading parasites who think that different rules apply to them than anybody else? Did you seriously expect people to sympathise with this appallingly blinkered and self-centred behaviour, when many of us pay large tax bills annually? Or are you telling us that you have never used the NHS, or the police, or the state education system?

As everybody else has said, you can't easily hide cash; not large amounts of it anyway. And if you're not earning large amounts of it, you won't need to pay much tax - suck it up, like everybody else. And anybody who decides to send 'helpful' PMs because they think it's clever to fuck other people over, shame on you.

Give the girl a break lol.. She's only 18 and trying to move out of her parents house!  ;D

It's a good idea to start paying taxes lala as soon as possible because your pension (once you're too old too work) will be higher. So the sooner you start the higher your pension money will be. You'll have to file as a self-employed person. The tricky thing is you're going to have to find an free-lance occupation to write in those forms: massage therapist, musician, artist, photographer etc... whatever suits you better but you'll have to hire an accountant at the begining to help you out. I personally reccomend not to disclose your real occupation to said accountant, just tell him you're a photographer who shoots glamour photography (for example).

Also: what are you going to do if you get sick or have an accident and you can't work? These things happen, believe me. You'll need unemployment money for a while and for THAT you would have need to pay your taxes otherwise you won't get unemployment money. So find an accountant and start now. It looks very complicated at the begining but it's actually pretty easy.

Oh yeah, thank you very much. I really appreciate what you've just said. You're right, it's for my own good isnt it?
But I do understand that it annoys people to see some people who avoid paying tax,so it's ok. I havent gone ANYWHERE near the ?7500 limit though so I'm not in trouble...YET.
Let me get cracking then :)

What about webcamming on aw? Thats not a fixed income at all so how can I declare that?

Lala, one of your (many) problems will be that if somebody drops you in it, just saying that it's OK because you haven't earned very much without any way of proving it isn't going to cut it with HMRC; they won't believe you, will calculate what they think you could have earned based on your hourly rate (and yes, your age, appearance and so on) and it's up to you to prove them wrong which you won't be able to do without keeping proper accounts and records. When they decide you could have earned ?100K (bearing in mind they have no idea how our business works), failed to declare it and bill/fine you accordingly, what will you do then?

Income tax isn't like VAT - you are obliged to register whether you've earned X amount or not. I'm sorry if I don't sound very sympathetic, but I left home at seventeen having already been in full time factory work for a year and as far as I'm concerned if you're old enough to work as a prostitute, you're old enough to run your business properly and without sponging off those less fortunate.

Thanks. I've fled the family home too AND i left the country they live in sooo yeah..anyways

I have another question , what should I claim myself as to get the most expenses RELEVANT to my work. They really are expensive when I sum up everything and I do not wish to say i'm an escort...

Thank you

I have a great accountant who has a website known as Fetish Tax (google it) and he knows exactly what I do and has many escort, Pro-Domme and people in the adult industry as clients.  He is very resonable and also has a business card with his name and no relation to adult/fetish stuff if you need to give his details out to anyone in a discretion capacity.

You're a student anyway though right? I never ever ever got taxed as a student, and if I did by mistake I called and got it refunded

I *think* there is an upper limit to what you can earn per week as as student (and it's not very much).

Tax rebates are a wonderful thing though  ;D

I think this is how it used to work;

Students started out not being taxed, but if their income went over the normal, minimum threshold they would start to be taxed. Any grants/bursaries/loans etc were tax free, so with most students only working part-time they'd have to put in quite a few hours, and have quite a decent income before they went over that threshold. I also seem to remember that because you weren't initially taxed, once over that income it would be deducted without any allowance ie from the whole amount.

You can correct me if I'm wrong!
