Hello, so as it says in the seeking thread, I'm in need of an incall venue that isn't my house since I've moved. I've never ever done this before so I want to try n get right and have minimal drama/hooker fails.

I don't do loads of bookings maybe between 2 and 6 per month, in a good month.

I have a couple of questions for you guys:

1) deposits; I know this is talked about quite a bit but: What I need is a way to get a deposit from each client that I can pay for a room (I think). This means quite fast access to the money. I'd rather not use paypal. what are my options? how do they work? I'm especially interested in the cash card Jodie talks about.

2) Hotels v rent by the hour rooms/play spaces. is booking a cheapish hotel room with the deposit an option? does anyone else do this? or is it better to have a dedicated room or play space to work out of? (I'd rather do the latter is possible tbh)

3) I feel as though I need change the way I do my rates if I'm gonna use deposits to rent out a space, I want to be earning at least ?100 an hour if I'm gonna trudge out of the house and with my current rates + room rent I'm not gonna make that! opinions? experiences?

4) How do people generally work out how much to the deposit should be?

I know this is a lot of questions, and frankly some of it may be nonsensical bollocks but I guess this is why I'm asking!

Any feedback on this would be great! thankyou all :)

Deposits are normally only taken in exceptional circumstances like 2+ hour bookings, longer bookings that are taken far in advance or from abroad.  There are many other circumstances but these are a couple of examples.

You don't say if either of these would be your reasons.  For shorter bookings that are usually made without much notice then deposits aren't normally possible or acceptable by clients.

Someone will be along to explain the pre paid cards shortly hopefully.

You would have to decide if hotels v apartments or an incall base is for you.  Do you want to be paying for something when you are not using it ?  If not then a hotel/apartment is your better option or a base you can 'rent' on an hourly basis, remembering though that if this is used by multi girls then it can get raided at any time.

Hotels can be booked with the option to cancel right up to the day of use but you must ensure you pick the right option when booking or you could be well and truly f*****.

You may have to change your train of thought re what you earn or you may miss out on a lot of bookings but that is something that only you can decide.  With the economic climate prossying is not the lucrative/easy occupation it used to be because of the saturation of workers.  :(

Good luck with deciding. Life ain't easy, is it?

i would say that as you only want to do a few bookings a month it might be either better to book a hotel room for one day or two days
Something like the ibis is great because  you can check in at 12 and if you need to leave early the next day you can cancle before check out time  and  not have to pay for the room ( but do check before you do that )

I would work two days put on a special offer and work my ass off depending on where you are this can work very well  you could probably do your whole quota for the month in those two days  leaving the rest of the month to do outcalls ect or rent a room by the hour if you were able to and wanted to

Deposits can be hard to get off guys ( imo)  unless its for a long appointment /overnight booking or a client that you know  well

Hotel like ibis you dont pay untill you leave anyway they just swipe your card  and block an amount off it  ( thats how you can cancle ect )
