Locked Us In His Room After Payment Taken
« on: 04 July 2014, 10:21:35 am »
I just wondered how the rest of you would have reacted to the following.

I was recently on an afternoon Outcall booking to a young fella ( Student ) who had paid a travel deposit, but changed the length of booking to a shorter one when I arrived, so paid me less.
Sometimes I mind about this and will walk away, but this time I didn't react and accepted, no problem at all.
As soon as the money was handed over to me, he locked his bedroom door ( he lived alone ) and pocketed the key.
I felt panic and told him not to do this and that I needed to change into my sexy stuff in this bathroom, use the toilet and call my security buddy to let them know my departure time had changed.  All absolutely true.
He refused and said I should change there on the bed and to just text my buddy instead. I was livid, but also a bit scared.

I was pretty sure he was just completely new to this ( could tell by his surprise when I asked for the payment upfront ) and that he probably thought I had some big, bad pimp parked around the corner ( I park away for my own privacy ). I just stood there trying to explain that I was genuine and wasn't going to do a runner with his money ( for the record I am 40 plus, with a very decent sprint on me - plus I was wearing my gym-gear for discretion  ;D )

He grabbed his money back, telling me he no longer wished to do this and ushered me out of his house.

Once I was safely away, I contacted him and eventually agreed on a substantial sum to cover my expenses. He seemed fine, just naive in how to successfully coordinate an Escort visit  :-\
Has this ever happened to anyone else and how did you react? I am fully aware that most guys lock the front door when I arrive as most tell me they are doing this. I accept this as I lock my own front door every time I enter too- and yes, it is probably incase some Pimp is going to rob him while I keep him busy  ::)

I have never panicked about this in the way I did with a pocketed room key.

Was I right to object? Would you also object to the main door being locked on outcalls?

I have been doing this for 5 years and nobody has ever refused to let me leave the bedroom after payment before..

I wouldn't have been happy either.

I've had clients lock the door at my incall place - which does lock behind you automatically, but then deadlock it. Another kept asking "Is the door locked", even on subsequent appointments. Given that there are places where someone could hide if I was that way out, then it was a bit of a stupid question.

Personally whilst I like the door to be locked to prevent ANY 3rd party entering - which could include his 'mates' or an accomplice, I do not like my exit blocked so that I cannot leave if I need to. I would have explained that if he insisted on keeping the key, that it would mean I could not relax and thus make it incredibly difficult to offer my usual relaxed service. Seems a bit daft that he feels he has to lock you in - surely that then implies you would rather be elsewhere so what sort of service does he expect to receive?

I did stop seeing the client who asked if the door was locked, not on this point alone, but he had a whole host of other behaviours that were quite odd and very off putting which when added together, meant I just felt uneasy in his presence.

I have also been locked in my incall place during a robbery by a client, first thing he did was put the deadlock on and physically prevent me leaving. I know clients can be robbed and scammed, but preventing either of you from leaving isn't on in my book.

Some clients are paranoid. See the comment about clipping on the car meets thread.

I wouldn't accept that sort of behaviour either. I would have called my friend and stayed on the line until I was out of there.

Behaviour like that (clipping) does nothing to help the genuine providers.

I don't do a lot of outcalls in comparison to Incalls, but I'd say 90% of the time the clients don't even lock front door, and if they do it's the same as any sane person would do, with the key in or left next to the lock.
That is terrifying what he did, I'd have done the same, sod the money just get the hell out

I would never accept that, and would end the booking. What happens if he is a murderer and you can't escape because he has locked the door. If someone is paranoid, they can do that in there own time, maybe get professional help. If something doesn't feel right, get out immediately, there will be other clients.

I wouldn't have accepted this either, like roseanna said some clients are very paranoid.

I had this peculiar client who after the booking, thought it'd be OK to start strolling through my (old) flat saying "Oh, what's through here?"

I stopped him and said "you can't go through there, i have a security buddy in that room" and he freaked out and virtually ran for the door. I text him explaining that i always have a security buddy in the house, i was eighteen at the time for god sake, and that it was no reflection on him. He text me back saying "Sorry, i' had a bad experience in the past" but it still freaked me out and made me think he was planning something sinister at the time.

It's hard enough managing the paranoia that comes with the job without having to deal with theirs as well  ::)

This was up in Lancaster. The lad was foreign with very basic understanding of English. I DID think about putting up a full warning at the time, but I felt he has been put off Punting for a while.. ( particularly as he eventually re-paid me just ?20 less than he had snatched off me in the room )  ::)

Not clipping at all.

I would give him his fee back, perhaps minus what it cost me to get there. I don't go on outcalls more than 20 mins away unless already a regular.

Also this is a good example of why you absolutely have to have someone aware of where you are going and monitoring the situation.

I was commenting on the clipping and how that can then make clients paranoid, I wasn't saying you do it.

Yes clipping does nothing for the sex industry's reputation, I wouldn't have described myself as an escort when I was 17 though, was caught up with some nasty people back then (20 years ago)

Do not in any way condone it or advise it, that was the tip of the iceberg for me though in those days and got a damn good beating for it once, x

Unfortunately, our business can be sometimes quite dangerous, I use mostly my intuition by asking a few questions before booking them an appointment, however, I don't do outcalls (I wish I would) but I am just too scared, unless if its at hotel in the central of the city. After reading your post, I 've decided to buy a panic button on amazon which cost very little and can help in case of....

Funny, I wouldnt do out calls to hotels   ;D  I hate hotels and the way the receptionist are looking at me or if I have to ask how to get to the clients rooms ... I preffer to visit them at their homes, never had problems.

But I hate taxis more and since I sold my car I stopped doing out calls.
