I know this goes against the grain as to how lots of you work, but I also generally prefer not to speak on the phone, as I have a bit of phone-phobia due to my hearing and don't want to sound stupid if I don't catch what someone says, so texting is easier for me.
As I used to be a pa and used email so much, I find that I can pretty much tell if someone is ok by how they text.
I know it's not foolproof but if someone is polite, straightforward and it doesn't become hard work, they pass. Any suggestion of too many questions, can't follow instructions, can't spell, use stupid words, like babe/love etc. or address me in an unacceptable way (don't know how to speak to a lady) they won't get to see me.
I appreciate that it is nice to hear a voice, but don't be afraid to rely on your other senses, we all have them but I guess most of you don't need to if you can take the call and hear what they sound like.
I know lots of you are dead against text bookings, but it works for me, but then I do take steps to ensure they have to follow instructions to get to see me. x
