Amy is quite right!  I put a so called 'shopping ' list  on mine as I hoped it would make it crystal clear what I do and don't offer.

But, the more I think about it the more wrong this is and I don't like it. The point of writing proper paragraphs and stuff is it allows you and your personality to shine through your writing! Rather than  a punter reading a menu and going  Oh ill have that for , starter, that for main  etc etc.

I  am going to get rid of it soon but my web master has had a tantrum about my requests  so I can't do much until I have the cms!

Anyway, here is the link to mine: www.lorissacharlesofherts.co.uk. Just ignore that  list page hehe.

Paris I would gladly swap banners with you if that is okay?

Edit: corrected URL

Lovely site. Just noticed a typo in the final and 3rd from bottom paragraphs of the availability page. Tiny, but I thought I would mention it!

new girl here. Where can I advertise my free website for free???
« Reply #17 on: 23 October 2011, 02:31:10 am »
hey girls.

I am 23 from Spain. I'm new in this forum and I love it. I had never seen such a helpful place for us to share ideas. I have recently created a free website, please take a look and tell me what I should change, what I did fantastic?. I would like to hear your ideas, comments, views... I'm new in London as well and I have previously done this job in Spain, France and Germany but here it's a whole different story and it's so difficult to get work at agencies if you don't have the right pictures and if you don't have a incall place in central London.
This is my web http://elisenda.webs.com/
I would also like to work as independent but I don't know where to advertise myself. Any ideas?, Is there any international website where we can be listed for free if we have a website but not our own domain??

Hi eli,

and welcome. Just curious on how was the volume of work in Spain, Germany and France? Are they busier than London? I was thinking in touring the 3 countries and that's why I'm asking. How's the economy over there compared to here? Has it affected the sex industry a lot?

thanks,

If you look on the SAAFE homepage there are sections on websites and advertising.
Personally speaking, I'd have thought you would need a glossy, professionally designed website if you're charging ?250 an hour. That's a  high hourly rate even for London (though your overnight is very cheap and I'd be going for at least ?800 but probably ?1000 with that sort of hourly rate).
The text is pretty good as your personality comes through, but it could do with editing a bit. You don't need to go into so much detail about your availibility and looking on your calendar.  You'll still get calls when you aren't available, no matter what you say.
I think you should make it clear that you're Spanish and say exactly which languages you speak and stress also that you're English is fluent (they'll think someone else wrote your site  for you).

thank you for the advice, to Ana30: forget about Spain, it's totally ruined by the crisis, it's one of the worst economies in Europe right now and there are not that many foreigners going there for business, I mean not as much as to other countries. And spanish men can't pay a lot, I don't know how much you charge though.
And then, France is ok as an independent but not ifyou want to work with agency because there are no agencies there, I guess it's ilegal but I didn't find any agency based in France. I was in Paris 1 month only so I can't really tell yuo much. I had a client only in the whole month, but didn't really advertise me, only in one website I think. And I didn't have my website then, I just posted an ad...
And lastly, Germany, if you want to make good money, then go there... economically it's better than France and Sp and you can work very well both independently and through agency. But I'm talking only about Munich, where I worked the whole summer, I was in 3 agencies plus also as an independent, I made between 900-1700 eur/week. Munich is a rich city, so if you go to other cities like Berlin and Hamburgh you'll probably won't earn as much as in Munich.

I just wondered if there was any interest in a section/thread, where you could  put your link and get constructive criticism from those with time and inclination to do so.
I think it would be a really good section to have. Prob as a child board. ie restricted from casual access.

It would help people starting their first website
and also help established escorts tweak their sites.

I like this idea, a lot.

The thread is here and has been since the OP - we don't need yet another separate section, and there is no reason for it to be private. If people don't want to publicise/invite comment on their sites here, they don't have to post on it.

There are a couple of off-topic posts which I've been too busy to spot up until tonight, but hopefully it can get back on track now :).

An escort might wish for their peer group to offer pointers about their site
without said request for constructive criticism,
being fully accessible by the world and his wife.

Also, I've only just noticed this thread.
A separate section would make it readily visible.
Hence my suggestion. (BTW, You're welcome)

I'd appreciate constructive advice on my site
but there is no way I'd want the general public
to see my request, nor other peoples opinions of my site.
That is a position of vulnerability and weakness.

People go to a GUM clinic's for check-ups but would be less likely to
if their doing so and the test results were viewed by up to 3 billion people, on line
  ;)

I'll put my desire for opinions about my site, on hold....

So a separate section for sites, and another for technical support and another for sti advice, and lets have another for best washing powder for knickers as i hate to air my dirty laundry in public, where does it end?

As for having a section partially hidden from view, as you are well aware that's a complete waste of time, as it wouldn't stop anybody posting the same data elsewhere, and as I think I have said before, what is the point of a help site to all if some people cannot see the things that may help. I also disagree with your analogy as a website is in the public eye, STI results are defiantly not.

Position of weakness or a showing of a will to understand and improve?

...constructive advice on my site
....from other escorts on SAAFE
.........that I wouldn't wish seen by potential clients
..............seems pretty reasonable to me.

Those are reasonable points Amy.
The thing is that I'm reticent at seeking opinions / feedback about my site,
from other members of SAAFE specifically because it's not on a restricted section of this site.
I don't wish to have potentially negative / damaging things,
shared with the general public and potentially clients. (admittedly as unlikely as that is)
That's partly Commercial Consideration about my Brand;
but maybe more due to my own insecurities.  Probably the latter, in all truth.  :-\
{The more I rework this post, the more I think I'm over-analysing the whole thing  ;D}

I can be opinionated and speak my mind. {I'm like that IRL too!  :o}
I typed that sentence with a loud booming voice. No, really, I did!
The thing is that as I feel hesitant on this subject,
I'm sure that other's thinking about escorting, or just starting out, may feel the same.

It could be a really beneficial thing to have.
Yes that's partly for me (hence my post),
but mainly for the benefit of a larger number of people who may appreciate
the semi-confidentiality aspect and visibility that placement on a Child sub-forum, would offer.
I'm just sayin' like...

I appreciate Admin and Mods
are better placed to weigh up potential benefits vs extra potential work.
So yes I do understand that aspect of your view.
I hope you can reconsider this again.

Thanks,
Jodie.

That's good. Then you can understand and appreciate the explanations that both Amy and the Janitor have taken the time to post. We're not going around in circles and as it seems the topic has gone off course, it's time to lock it.
