Confused
« on: 04 April 2009, 12:36:56 pm »
Just had a letter from the management company of my building saying....

"....In order to ensure effective security, we have found it necessary to change the way in which we allow access to visitors on site. Please be advised that with immedediate effect letting and estate agents are requested to report to conciege, proir to accessing the devlopement. This also applies to any contractor working on behalf of any agents or leaseholders. All access to visitors will be refused with the eception of the postman, meter readers and emergancy services....."

Does this mean that I cannot have 'friends' over because it will really bugger up my business! Surely they cant mean that cos I will start living a very lonely existance!

Kisses

I think they must mean 'visitors to the building while you're not there' / 'who don't ring your doorbell'.

They're not going to ban everyone's friends (or indeed 'friends') from visiting!

What sort of door security is there now?
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

well there is a gate to the complex that you need to buzz someone in and then you need to buzz again to get into the building. I called the women whos number was on the letter and she was mega rude saying that she didnt work weekends! Dont answer the fucking phone then!!! lol

Gated communities are major pet peeves. Im almost reluctant to visit anyone who lives in one after the number of headaches I've had to enter

I know seemed a good idea at the time!

Had a client and I mentioned the letter and asked him to be careful. He had no problems so was a bit of a anti-climax when he was all prepared to sneek in acting like James Bond! Bless

LOL Seems like the management agents got into a panic about something or developed an (un)healthy dislike for estate agents and did not want to let them in!
