Hey ladies

I have been out of work for ages and recently started to get back into it. I re-activated my profile on AW and straight away started to get a lot of jobs and was busy over the 2 weeks I've been working. However... today I stumbled across a really bad review someone had left me 3 days ago saying I was lacklustre, un enthusiastic and was using my phone (I thought I was giving a good service but clearly I was wrong) Maybe I've been out of the game too long  :FF :FF :FF

I have good reviews on AW, will this make a significant difference on the amount of work I get? Am leaving again in October and need to stack that paper until then!!!  ???

No it won't hurt you. Plenty of girls with bad reviews on review sites make good money.

And you should never be seen using your phone. If you cut that out then you'll eventually get a good review.

We've all been slated on those sites, myself for being too vanilla and made to feel completely inadequate rather than the client just admitting to himself and others that he made a bad choice in booking me for his own personal needs expecting more from me than my profile advertises or a style of booking I don't cater for rather than slating me and my service in order to make himself feel better. My profile is everything I say I am and I like to think that I am at the top of my game for what I OFFER. I hate being compared to girls that offer a much more extensive list of services than me because it's not fair, how can I compete with a girl that offers a completely different service from me? I am not a porn star and I am not the slutty GFE type, I've never advertised myself as that person. I am vanilla and always been honest about it.

Moving on....I think it's best to just ignore it. I have gotten very upset in the past and tried to defend myself and only ended up looking worse. I think some even said I was mentally ill for daring to get upset and show emotion at personal insults towards myself and complete lies being posted about me. Some actually get off on your upset so please take it from me....try to forget about it and try to up your game if there are any truthful comments that they posted negatively about you such as the phone thing.

I will say this though....using your phone during a booking is bad practise and I would expect a negative comment/review to be written about me if I did that. End of the day, you can't blame the client for expecting your undivided attention for the time he's paid you for. I only ever use my phone at the start and the end to let my security buddy know that I'm ok but I do that when my client is in the shower.

My suggestion is to stop looking at those "forums".  They are there for punters who punt, not geared towards wgs.  I'm curious that you can actually de-activate AW profile and re-activate as you please?  It was worth knowing.  Thank you.  Hope you feel better soon.  Not worth worrying about it.  You know how they are like (except nice ones) ... ::) ::)

And again:

Since we haven't mentioned it for a week or so, I'll remind everybody again that discussion of punting forums and their members is off topic here for a variety of reasons which have been pointed out ad infinitum and should be obvious even if they hadn't.

Stick to reviews and keep it general please, or we'll just remove the posts altogether.

As for deactivating/reactivating an AW profile,  I'm pretty sure that provided you put it back within a month, anybody can do so and it (including credits, feedbacks and so on) will stay the same :).

No not at all, you will find that majority of AW clientelle do not have time for forums so do not stress about it.

I think it is important to remember this and not only AW clients. Do not read them in the first place as most clients also do not.

Nothing specifically negative is written about me in a review as far as I am aware but hangers on who add comments which are not true or unfair is annoying but my choice now is not to read them in the first place. It is not easy though  ::)

Even in places where they do read reviews (I don't have any negative reviews that I know of, but there are a couple of me on a US site which are nothing short of bizarre and I'd bet my house keys on one of them being a complete fabrication to gain free access to the site, which is how it works) it doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

What you'll find is that the only people who insist that reviews are important and lots of people read them are those who write them which is fine, but compared with those who just want to phone, turn up and get on with it they're in a minority. Most punters can't even be arsed to read your ad properly, let alone anything else :).

Thanks ladies I feel so much better! I didn't really de-activate it as such, I put it to 'seeking services'. I shall steer clear in future of googling myself :P I actually only did it to see what ads I still had active on the net and ended up seeing the review that way. I think the review sites outside AW are for die hard punters in any case, it's like a little bitch fest for them... bless them  ::)

Absolutely true and that is why they can let rip and post all kinds of stupid and often exaggerated or erroneous comments.

And one always has to keep in mind that ANYONE can be behind that username.

I've had haters in the past get banned then reinvent themselves over and over constantly getting digs in at me making it look like loads of people have it in for me all because I refused their booking lol.

There have been other escorts/pimps pose as clients later exposed after trying to destroy the competition, it's a sad day.

And then when you've been around for literally years with God only knows how many happy clients then someone from nowhere joins the forums and writes something nasty or untrue about you and most people on these forums believe everything that this new username has to say without taking into consideration that there are many, many reasons why a "punter" can have a grudge against you, most common is refusing their booking or not offering the services they think you should be offering so therefor your not good enough or that the client might have been a complete weirdo/creep/rough/unhygienic/impossible to gel with in person so therefor making your job difficult.

This type get more of a thrill out of hearing bad things about you than they do hearing good things about you. It's never gonna change so no point in getting upset about it anymore. I stopped getting upset when I went back on social media (only Instagram) for my other work and seen just how many horrible, hateful comments are written about some of the most beautiful women in the world. The Internet and anonymity has evolved a lot of nasty humans into something even nastier and while we're in a job like this, hating and made up bullshit is just something we have to accept. It's not easy but it is what it is and you can't please everyone.

The decent clients will be able to see through all the bullshit and make their own mind up.

This is crazy and shouldn't be allowed. Anyone can make accounts to try and sabotage you if that's the case! We work hard to try and build a good reputation and all it takes is an idiot or 2 to make us look bad. I like the AW feeback system as you can see feedback left by us girls too. Although I suppose even that isn't idiot proof either  :-\

To be honest, every review system whether it's AW or forums is flawed and whether it's escorts they're talking about or a restaurant.

I am just back from the most amazing hotel while on holiday with excellent reviews, I loved everything about it yet there was one woman who ran the hotel down to the ground in her review because they had the cheek to ask her children to get out the pool and closed the pool during a tropical thunder storm so clearly she thought the hotel was at fault and that her children were invincible from electricity and water.

As I said, you just can't please everyone no matter how good you are as long as you try your best then that's all you can do. You can't be rubbish at your job and then wonder why you have a bad review so as long as you try your best then that's what matters.
