I was wondering about the same thing earlier today - got an e-mail saying that such and such added me to their hot list. I'm still not exactly sure, if I'm right, but that seems the most plausible.

I tried to create my own list and add a client, but failed - I start to think that you have to be a fully verified member who can use the client connection feature, to do this.

And basically hot list is a way for them to save our profiles under their own categories and even add some notes:

" December 2007  --   Seeking Services  --   Multiple Hot Lists
It is now possible to create more than one hot list and add members to them.
Once in a hot list you are also able to record notes against them for your own information.
Create your hot lists here and add members via the usual 'Add to Hot List' link on their profile page. "

So, I'm not sure if it's of any help or use to you, but hopefully it clarifies matter a bit?

I keep getting emails from them saying so and so has added me to their hotlist as well. I clicked on the link and just says something about having to be verified to see it. I assumed it is yet another ploy to get us to verify.

The hotlist is just so punters can save their favourite profiles for later.

I decided to get verified today so I can see what the hot list is about.  I found that there were 168 men that had added me to their hot list.  Some of them I recognised and it made sense as we have already spoken and others I wouldn't know from adam.  They do show a little more information on some of the men, such as their age, but most men don't say where they are from or anything like that, so it is hard to tell if it is worth contacting them or not and you can't send them a direct message, just one of those stupid flirt things, which is a standardised generic message.

I don't think I am a fan.
