Annoyingly Average
« on: 03 January 2009, 01:18:17 am »
Hey all,

After much thought and research I've decided to try my hand at escort work, and figured that an agency was the best way forward. This is where I became unstuck...

I'm a UK size 12/14, bordering more on the 14, and most of the agencies I found seem to stipulate size 12 and under and apparently lifted straight out of a Nuts magazine, while the BBW sites understandably want larger ladies. Does anyone know of agencies in the Leeds/Yorkshire are that cater for all sizes, or at least have somewhat more relaxed maximum size? Or does that fact I can get into some 12 (label depending) mean it's worth giving the other agencies a shot?

I do also have quite a few scars on my arms and thighs from s&m/blood play with an ex-partner. They're not really noticeable from a distance, but hard to miss close up. Would these be a considerable barrier to getting work with an agency as well, and should I just deal with the fact I seem fated to going independent? :P

Agencies bend the truth a lot so I wouldn't worry about being not quite a 12, and those Nuts-style girls probably look pretty normal in real life. I don't know if your scars are likely to be an issue, but I expect that's the sort of thing that different agencies will have different opinions on. If you've decided that you'd like to go the agency route you might as well approach them and find out. Of course you may be rejected, but you'll have to learn not to take things like that seriously sooner or later. Just remember that if an agency rejects you it'll only be a minor setback, and as you know you can do just fine on your own with a little extra effort.

My agency and also the one i was with before are happy to take on girls of all shapes and sizes so i dont think that should be a barrier if you find the right agency,it may just be a case of looking around until you find somewhere that suits you.

With regards to scars,i self harmed for years and have lots of scars on both arms that are very noticable and impossible to conceal. I get them airbrushed out in my photos but i have to say that ive only ever had 2 clients even comment on them in the 7 months ive been escorting and they were curious more than anything.
Most of the men you meet wont be looking at your arms anyway, their mind is generally on other things ;D

I dont even mention my scars at agency interviews,i just wear long sleeves and like i say its never been an issue for me. It really is upto you how much you choose to reveal of yourself. You have to look after yourself in this game, especially when your dealing with agencies.

Best of luck
x

I have a small scar on my stomach from an operation. No one has ever noticed, and yet many of my clients work in the medical profession.  Don't point out flaws, chances are no one notices or cares.

What's wrong with being a 12/14? That's my size and whereas I might be that size, I am fit and toned and if I lost weight, my boobs would go!
No thank you.
I have to say that if your truthful about your size, you will get the guys that like a bit of a body to grab onto! I am not struggling for clients any more than the tall, thin, cover girl body! It's each to their own and a lot of guys like women our size just as a lot of guys like the NUTS type women.
Your not annoyingly average!

Are there really agencies that refuse a woman for being this size? That is horrible. I am glad I am not looking for an agency if that's the case. It's very easy to get down on yourself for what size you are, I would take it all with a pinch of salt and start telling yourself your fantastic not average!

They're working on Viagra for women. Are they crazy? That's been around for hundreds of years - its called cash... Alonzo Boden.

Bless, your not average.  Apparently the UK average size woman is a size 16 so you are less than average (but in a wonderful way lol).

I've seen those kind of agencies when i was thinking of joining one and it put me off totally.  I really didnt see the point of me becoming an escort because i got the impression that men would only pay to sleep with the ultra skinny types.  Well, it's just not true.  I advertise my size (i am a true average lady of a size 16  ;D) and the men i see come because they dont want a slim woman.  Its fine by me, boosts my confidence to be honest.  I'm almost reluctant to loose weight.... best i have another slice of cheesecake eh!   ;)

A lot of guys just like all women - they don't care all that much as long as you're pretty and a good shag!

One of my old regulars who I seen over Christmas at home actually complained to me that I'd lost weight!!

Nothing wrong really, just need a little plumping up that lasts after the bra comes off, want to try this newish thing where they move the fatty bits from under your arms into your boobs. Plumping without artificial enhancements.  ;D

I want my teeth sorted out first

If I was going to do anything cosmetic it would be braces, my teeth are the only thing I ever feel self-conscious about (you can tell if you look through my photos), but last week I had a client who was the second person ever to like them for their wonkiness. She said they were like the teeth that got away. :)

I havent ever had anyone comment on mine except for a couple of members of my family who have pointed out they look like old grave stones, nice!  I saw something the other day about a retainer kind of thing that you can take out sometimes but i have to look in to it more.  Braces might be the only way to go... unless i win the lottery this week in which case im booking in for the treatment where they file them down to pegs and put beautiful white teeth back in their place, you know, the one that is so popular on 10 years younger  ;D

Obviously i will be checking myself in for the full works if my numbers come up, chin job, boob job, nose job.... all in that order.  And a personal trainer that makes me work out till i puke!  That kind of thing.  ;D

:-[I thought I was the only one!  :-[  My teeth are about my only flaw...nothing really wrong with them except a slight overbite and a chipped tooth from a bike accident...I worked up on the root canal and crown prep which actually squared it off and it looks better than it did a couple months ago, now in a few weeks Im going to go ahead and put a crown on it..and a couple veneers...

The braces? I'd go with invisalign but not its not a priority. However I suffered years of ridicule before my jawbones began to mature and actually re-aligned my teeth on it's own after puberty! I've always been somewhat self conscious about it, and was flattered when the dentist told me I have really good teeth!

Tooth work is different in the US i think.  Its why the americans take the piss out of the british teeth so much.  When i was a teenager (oh so long ago lol) if you had braces you were bullied but luckily that has changed.  I have friends with teenage daughters that have green or pink or blue braces.  They have become a fashion statement so kids dont mind having them now.

I wish it had been that way when i was young but when my dentist told my mum they would eventually sort themselves out we just belived him and went with it.  then in my early 20's i was so worried about boys not finding me attractive if i had braces i wouldnt even think about it.  I then got to an age i thought i would just do it when i suddenly realised that i look a lot younger than i am.  I still get asked for id when i but wine so im sure that if i have braces im going to regress back to being in my early 20's and, no offence to those in their 20's but i wouldnt go back there if you paid me lol

is there a WG out there with braces?  if i had them now wouldnt i just get asked to do the 'school girl' thing which freaks me out?  i'm not sure braces and escorting go hand in hand.  maybe im wrong though.
