Absolute newbie needs help and advice.
« on: 15 September 2014, 11:48:10 pm »
I have trawled through the pages!
My Grandma always used to say you have always ways of making money and your sitting on it.
I have no idea if she meant this!!!
Ive toyed with the idea for a few years now but mr recession has hit me hard. I was made redundant from my job as a barmaid last month.
I don't even know if there is a scene in NI, but id love any help and advice.

Rofl, you did make me laugh, there are thousands of prossies everywhere including NI.

I'm on iPad and can't do links but click on the "main site" button above and read it three or four times minimum in order to take things in.

Then use search button to look for anything that has popped up in your head, using different words if first search doesn't show anything for it's highly unlikely you'll be the first to ask any specific question.

Once you have don't this reading come back with any other questions you may still have.

Good luck and welcome to SAAFE.

It's all on the main site, you really do have to read that part, there is no avoiding it if you want to succeed.

Kaleese, there is no shortcuts in this business if you want to succeed.  If you want to succeed you really do need to read the main site, it will be more fruitful than PMing everyone on the site and it's all written there for you in black and white.

Thanks Lady Lust.
I have and I am continuing to do so! (I was logged on for quite a bit of the night, 4 am and then back on at 8.30 am, Ive also been on most of today)
I cant find a thread on the shortened terms!

The other ladies have been quite helpful in letting me know what certain things mean, and giving me practical advice.

I am not pming everyone,  I
have pmd a couple of girls, and I do understand that if I want to succeed then I do have to learn things on my own.

Kaleese, it's good that you have been doing some reading And it's good that you realise you will have to learn things on your own.  For every girl on the site there is a different way of working.

It will take months and months of reading and writing out a profile and improving it and upgrading it.  You may be on an island but it is a very large  island. So I wouldn't worry about location.

We have to start with baby steps and work from there.  If you try to run before you can walk you will trip and fall and no one wants to see that.

Keep reading saafe and AW and draft out a profile for yourself and take it from there.

It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

Kaleese, I would be wary about asking for too much specific advice, because everyone works differently, and has different boundaries, lifestyles, aims etc.

Aside from reading the (fantastic) general info on here, one thing I found useful was just looking at other escort's personal websites, particularly about their services and rates, but also any blogs in which they gave a bit more personal info, and perhaps some comments about how clients behaved.

You need to decide:

1. Where you are going work
2. When
3. What you would like to do and what you definitely won't do
4. And your rates

When you've got all that straight in your head, write an Adultwork profile as appropriate - draft it in Word first if it's easier to edit it that way. Remember some clients won't read much, so keep it simple, straightforward and brief. Then just have a few photos done and you're ready to go.

If you're going to work from home, you will probably need to buy extra towels, bedding, toiletries etc. and of course shedloads of condoms. If you'd can't afford this, you'll presumably have to start off doing out-calls only to get a bit of money behind you, and would just need a few outfits to begin with. And the condoms!
