I turned my hobby into a job when I began Escorting  ;)

For me now  it's hardcore fitness all the way. Running, swimming, cycling and the gym any chance I get.
You either love it or hate it I suppose..
As you already do keep fit, why not check out the classes at your local Gym? They do everything from Yoga ( which I hate ) to kick boxing and spinning ( which I love )
They start soon after 9 and run up to lunchtime at most bigger health clubs. If that's too early in the day for you they have early evening sesh's for the 9-5 workers. Everyone is usually abit high on adrenaline, so pretty friendly and sociable and stay behind for coffee and arrange occasional days/ nights' out etc.  :)
By the time I've cycled there, done a workout, a class or 2, swam and steamed/sauna'd, had coffee with the girls etc, the day is almost over and I'm way too knackered to do anything mundane like shopping or housework!
A 4pm siesta works wonders and then it's all systems go for the evenings' activities ahead!
It's a fab life!!  :D

Yeah I definently agree with the gym thing. Takes off all the stress and it kills time.

One of my habits though seem to be message forums! But those aren't hobbies as usually at some point, someone ends up pissing someone off!

I have just started doing street dance again which is fun and a calorie burner but I am in the same boat where all my mates work during the day so I just end up text pesting the boyfriend!

reading and photography keep me busy. photography is still an ameteur interest, but i love it. I started with a couple of digital slr's but  friend has recently got me into using film slow lens release camera's and actually developing the rolls myself. :)

I would echo what Kimba says about classes - I don't really like group things/socialising as such, but if you just want a bit of brainless contact with people who don't know or care what you do for a living, it's a good option if you go to the gym already. I do Power Yoga, Pilates, Bodypump (if I haven't got many plans for the week) and whatever else takes my fancy from the timetable - I loved Thai boxing but injured myself years ago and can't do it any more :(. I don't get to go in the middle of day really, because that's when I tend to get most of my bookings, calls and emails but they go on at my gym until nine pm and there's always something.

Me too! But if your friend told you that SLR meant slow lens release, she's pulling your chain - it's Single Lens Reflex. I don't have a darkroom but but learnt film processing years ago at night school and did my own printing and everything - I keep promising myself I'll sign up for the local college and do it again. You'll save a fortune doing your own pics too :D.

haha... i'm tired, i was writing in a photography forum at the same time about slow/fast lenses. hence the typo.

i'd like to do a course too but, at least for a bit, evening courses are out of the question. but yes, i do take all my own pictures..... great way to learn & save money at the same time. :)

I have a dog, so I guess you could call that a hobby? ;D

I take her for long walks instead of the gym (as I'm not allowed to run due to injury blah blah), and I have signed her up to visit people who aren't very well in hospital. I also volunteer for a few hours a week in a charity shop, as like others have mentioned, it's a nice way to have mindless chat with people who do non-escorting work. It also makes me feel a bit better about myself. I guess another benefit, which is the same as courses is that it gives you something to fill any potential 'gap' in your cv. I see that as an added bonus of the hobby, but I don't think it should be the reason for doing it.

For me, it's really important to unwind, and also be able to be myself and get out of my 'escort persona' so I do like sociable hobbies, but ones that don't require me to lie, hope that makes sense!

I've got sunshine, on a cloudy day. When it's cold outside I've got the month of May.

I'm a gym bunny, not matter how painful it is to get out of bed that early, you won't regret it when you're skipping out the door feeling amazing! I love to read, popular science, bios, romantic novels (the funny ones, I assure you) and visit new places as much as I can. I'm returning to escorting after a two months break so obviously my job was a big time taker, but when I'm escorting I always try and make sure there's lots for me to do so I'm not just sitting waiting around, so even if its quiet you can say 'hey that was a productive day' :)

Gym babyyyyyyy. Great for relieving tension and stresses as well as keeping the body in check.

I also love trying new classes - I tried this new Beautcamp pilates class the other day which was hardcore but fab! The latest hollywood craze know doubt!

Also pampering stuff - love trying out new products, techniques at spas.

I unearthed a god send of a health &  beauty website a few weeks back with tons of free/cheap offers  - its been keeping me busy with free classes and ?2 manicures   :D

Ooh, I've been thinking about going to a Beautcamp class! Apparently it's very hardcore and tough going but does amazing things to your body? And it's a combination of Pilates and cardio? How did you find it?? I would love to do something that's not too slow and boring (sorry Pilates :P) but also not too much cardio as I already run a bit and need my days off to rest my knees!

As for the OP, I have to agree with everyone else about the gym - it's relaxing and I enjoy ticking away endless minutes on the treadmill, listening to music and getting lost in my own thoughts. And it's nice to go and be around people but, like others have said, not have to make up loads of lies about myself in awkward conversations!

My other hobby is learning - I'm starting a new course in September - oh, and I like eating, too! I don't do many dinner date bookings but when I do, it has to involve a restaurant that I'd already been wanting to try. ;D

Emily ,
Beatucamp is super hard!! That said I don't really like yoga/pilates just can't get into as much as I want to so this was a nice alternative because there is cardio as well.

I think one you get over the fact that the machines look like torture devices its great!  Really challenging, muscles I didn't even know I had  but I feel its better value for money than paying for powerplate classes for example because you feel so good albeit achy afterward.

If you are in London message me ; I can send you link to where I got the free session from x
