I no longer let this sort of thing bother me. The 'let you know when I'm setting off instead of making an appointment' is really a gamble since I may have accepted another booking or made other arrangements.

Some get a bit funny when they realise this but it's fair enough.

I repeat this to about 1/3rd of my phone calls. "sure, but in the meantime someone may have booked me"
the response is usually "right I understand that's fair enough"
and then 1/15 of those call back.
I really don't understand what those phone calls are. hey baby I might swing by later depending on work. "ah, well phone again when you want to make a booking and you know and hopefully I'll still have an appointment"
I don't understand. are they in some from of fantasy land that I'm their personal fuck buddy waiting for them in crotchless panties all day, wet and hoping for their penis? I mean if they want to play that when they *get* here, fine, whatever. I'm game. The calls don't bother me anymore I just don't really understand the point of them. "hey I want to come over for sex what are your work hours"
"well I will be working till 8 but I only accept appointments you can't drop by as I don't work that way"
"oh well I don't know what my work hours are yet."
"that's fine. call back when you know and book an appointment and hopefully when you call back, there will still be an appointment available for the time you will be int he area."
"ok."

I don't know what else they were expecting??

This has just happened so it's reminded me to post it on here: when they spray deodorant in the bedroom to cover up the fact they havent showered!

I hate it when they offer me alchohol.Sometimes I do have a glass of wine if I feel like it but then they offer me another, then another-and then when I say no really I should stop,I'm getting tipsy they still keep asking?!I mean, most of them assume I work full time so they obviously think I drink all through the day then at every booking?!do they think all wgs are drug taking alchoholics or what?Luckily I have never been too drunk with a client but it's when you go out in the fresh air that it hits you and then you have to take the tube home drunk in the afternoon which is pretty humiliating lol
