My go to work makeup routine after moisturiser and primer is:

1. Eyebrow gel- I do the fluffy eyebrow and have my eyebrows laminated so any gel would do. I currently use Refy or NYX.
2. Concelear- I use a combination of NARS and Revolution
3. Foundation. I like it high coverage and my skin type is mixed so I like Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless or Estee Lauder double wear. Both are good to reapply in between clients if you need a quick touch up.
4. Contouring & Blush. I use a contour kit from MAC and blush from Beauty Bay
5. Setting powder. I now have the Jeffree Star Cosmetics one but NYX was pretty good too.
6. Setting spray. NYX/ Revolution/ Too faced.
7. Some nude/ pink eyeshadow + a bit of highlighter for the inner corners. There are from Melkior or Jeffree Star Cosmetics.
8. Mascara. Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift or Urban Decay Perversion after I curl my lashes.

It sounds like a lot, but it only takes me 10 to 15 minutes and I’m ready to go. It’s enough makeup to hide imperfections while still keeping a fresh face look. I have my makeup bag with me at all times if I need retouching and it doesn’t take much space. xx

Kryolan is a good a good shout! Fantastic long wear makeup designed for performers - aka it stays put

I’m a trained make up artist so I tried so many different brands . For foundation I find Estée Lauder double wear is very good . I also use an  cake eyeliner sealer over my liner so keep it in place and it’s brilliant ( kryolan) . I have had “ lip blush “ which is tattooed lip liner /all over colour . It is very natural looking and ensures I only need a touch of lip balm
And I’m good to go .

I used to buy expensive make up for work Dior foundation etc. Now I stick with cheaper brands like Rimmel but I always get a waterproof mascara and eyeliner. foundation and lipstick is easy to top up. But when showering multiple times a day it's best having a waterproof massacrer unless you wear false lashes!

I try to use brands that my skin can still breathe in and not clots my pores. I also have sensitive skin so find certain products that you not give me allergic reaction:

Mascara-bare minerals
Liquid liner and eye pencil-ysl
Concealer- Clinique
Blush-Nars

They’re either waterproof or long wear.

Hey,

I’m a really pale girl, like ghost white, so my foundation looks really obvious on client’s skin when it transfers. Do you guys have any recommendations for foundation that doesn’t transfer or a setting spray that stops it from happening?

TIA

Could anyone recommend a waterproof volume mascara that won't run down and smudge my under eyes like most of my others !

I just got semi permanent eye liner done, I'm hopeless at drawing eyeliner on, so I'm hoping this will save me time!

This may depend on your skin type, I am paleish I also have oily/acne prone skin under constant medical level treatment which to some extent moderates the oiliness. I use a normal skin ELF primer with a little Vichy Dermablend foundation over the top - you do not need very much. Set with Nyx Matt setting spray.

Mineral foundation is really hard wearing. I use Lily Lolo in Porcelain as a fellow ghostly person and it’s perfect for me. I’m NC10 in MAC for comparison.

Rimmel 100% Waterproof Mascara  - does what it says on the tin! You can put several layers to build volume

Tubing mascara is good for this, I use the KVD one (I haven’t tried others!) and it doesn’t go smudge my or run at all

I'm really lazy with this, I tend to use Clinique foundation, the light sheer one, same company as Estee Lauder, by the way.

I like a good pencil eyeliner but I buy whichever is cheapest, as long as it's retractible and doesn't need a sharpener, Maybelline is good, it stays put.

For lips, I used to spend a fortune (I'm an ex beauty consultant) however, these days, I think that with a lot of items you can get away without spending much and the best one for me is actually Rimmel!... Never thought I would say that but their long lasting stuff with the colour at one end and the moisturising balm at the other is probably the best I have ever found. I would rather a Rimmel long lasting lip than any of the dear ones. It just stays put, which is what we want when working.

Lash extensions anyone prefer those instead of mascara ?
I really wanted to have them done but need hypoallergenic due to  itching eyes last time
Does anyone else have this problem too?
I'd love my lashes back on but got to find a beautician who uses a different glue
