I would not appreciate being called a slut as I do not have sex with anyone for free which is what a slut does slut is also an  aspect of someones character. 
However prostitute, Prozzy, floozy, hooker, whore are all terms I find acceptable and terms I use myself to describe my job. However it does not defines ones character as it is just a job.  So I never say I AM a prostitute I say I work as one same as any other job.
After all when my stockings come off so does the character I play at and I m  no longer in work mode but hoe mode where I am a wife and mother

I can't see how 'escort' sounds classy - everybody knows that an 'escort' in this context is a prostitute. I rarely escort anybody anywhere further than the door to the bedroom, and to me it just sounds like a prostitute who's ashamed of being a prostitute. There's nothing classy about that.

Prostitute wg or escort. They can call me a whore if it does it for them but I hate hate hate hooker! "Aye my mate just said to me best way to get over a divorce is get a good hooker".......made my skin crawl
