I just got this email for Tony, now when I went to the below link there is a picture of an escort's face and saying she is a thief. Now if that is the case or not, remains to be seen, but I am troubled greatly by this. This guy sounds like he has an axe to grind, and not necessarily for the right reasons.

I've had this email twice today!

Have you clicked through to the "Bad Escorts Blog"? It's vile. Also hilarious in a really stupid way, but mostly a really weird idea someone's had.

I, too, am mystified by the motives of this guy. Perhaps he's a crusading punter who's sick to death of being ripped off by unscrupulous girls? He's probably also in the BNP. But that's just a thing I decided based on opinion. ::)

Yeah, that is kinda bad. The man sounds like he's on a mission. He's probably been done over so many times it's the last straw.
On the one hand I know there are flighty escorts who rip off agencies and steel customers from them but on the other hand this man is just seeking vengence. If it was just a case of warning other agencies, why would he be emailing other escorts? Where did he get your names?
Not the way of dealing with wayward escorts if his motives were altruistic.

I got the email five times today!

Ive written to him asking what evidence he is getting to ensure that the escort is indeed bad!

Ok we have bad punter warnings etc, and bad escorts do give us professional ladies a bad name, so in principle can see the benefit.  However, what happens if a girl or guy with an issue with an escort puts up a false warning?  What happens then?

Will report back when I get a reply.

Snap I got the email too and it greatly worried me tbh.  I was going to post this on here and elsewhere to discuss it.  My worry is that this kind of site can be used to try and blackmail ladies and a way to settle scores by guys who harass ladies who blocked them.  Quite frankly, I am convinced that the number of clients and agencies that rip of ladies is far higher.  Not to say that there aren?t some bad eggs in this industry but something like this is way to open for abuse!

It's very worrying. Given the ferocity at which the webmaster has outed the agency escorts, I wouldn't be suprised to see it featured in the warnings forum in the not-too-distant future.

There's a way to do things. This isn't one of them.

There is a certain well know Irish website who allows reviews of the escorts, and believe me, the clients the darling little saints that they are, have used it to try to ruin an escorts reputation. Agencies, will post nasty fake reviews about perceived competition, and it does indeed have a damaging effect. Of course you can rebut, but since we know what a 'good ole boys network' punter forums can be, well you can imagine the damage that can be done.

Yeah I've had this one a few times today.   :-X  Shrug. The potential for this to turn into a slanging match is huge. While I DO think people need to be aware of genuine cons on either side of the equation as Brandy said this is NOT the way to go do things, and I think BH said it that the number of girls thieving from clients is likely greatly outweighed by client/agency rip offs.

I can see the value of an equivalent of Saafe for agency owners (though I wonder if rivalries would make squabbles here look like a love-in) but this is not the way to do it.

I suspect he's spammed everyone in an attempt to find the people who owe him money.

It looks very one-man-show-ish -- if he's really concerned, shouldn't he be posting in more populated places that already exist within the escorting online community? Would be far less annoying and much more valid than spamming emails. Grr!! All my long-lived frustrations at spammers in general are now directed towards this Tony, since he replied to Penny's email and showed he's a real person. Probably a bit unfair towards him but really. I hate spam. It is one of the MOST antisocial things you can do on the Internet, which is certainly saying something.

Ooer, just noticed that "Brandy" is on bad-escorts.com! For being "such and irrogant women". Tsktsk, shocking and shameful. ;D
