MoneySavingSexperts?
« on: 11 August 2014, 05:45:00 pm »
Hi all,

I've got some great moneysaving tips from this forum (the most notable being the NHS Freedoms website for bulk buying condoms) and was wondering if anyone else likes to be super thrifty. I like to provide good equipment and a comfortable environment, but won't fork out loads on expenses.

Any tips on buying consumables, equipment, lingerie etc?

A lot of girls I know get half their lingerie and stockings from Primark so I reckon i'll give them a go for my next photoshoot!

I agree, Primark is class for (cheap) lingery, I think it doesn't look cheap though! I'm not too impressed with their stockings, they tend
to start falling down after wearing them twice.. My local chemist gives out free condoms.. You could always try and get clients to
buy you stuff, if they ask you if you have this or that, say no, but you could bring...
I've acquired a pretty nice selection of toys that way  :)  I do my own photo's too, another money saver maybe?
I don't have to be perfect, but I'm perfect at being me!

Regarding lingerie, anyone got any ideas for decent quality bras for girls with strange sizes... that don't break the bank? I'm 28DD. Primark does not stock my size, as far as they are concerned it just doesn't exist. I know you get bra "equivalents" that still kind of fit the breast shape, but 28DD bras are a far superior fit on me than the "equivalent" 30D, 32C, 34B etc. But they're a bloody pain to find!

Also, thanks TheChemist for the mention of the Freedoms site, it's excellent!

I find M and S really good for stockings. They last. But I also keep nails short (good for sticking them up bums!) and take stockings off immediately for a quick rinse each time.

I gave up on Primark a while ago, for personal use, but I wear and wash lingerie so frequently for this job it's a good idea.

I actually have yet to buy wetwipes, just have a box of regular tissues by the bed, what do you use them for exactly that they're better? I offer a shower on both arrival and departure though.

I usually take a couple of porridge pots with me as well as a bottle of water.

Being a 28G myself, it is incredibly difficult to find bras to fit me, but as I mentioned on another thread, if you find a bra you like try it on were the cup actually fits correctly around the bust and then have the back taken in.  I'm sure if you went to Primark or M&S and tried on several sizes, you'll find the right cup size, and providing the back isn't to big then you can have it taken in.  Still cheaper than buying from specialist shops.

I always have wipes on me, if he likes to go multiply times then they are great for cleaning himself and myself with out leaving tissues etc stuck to you (Obviously always still have a shower after the booking too).

I bulk buy most of my essentials, I find some times amazon can out beat freedoms on big lots of condoms.

I like M&S stockings too, and buy stacks if they're on offer. My tips would be that whichever stockings you settle on try to always get the same ones, and then if you rip one you have a matching replacement and haven't lost a pair :).

Tissues stick, shred and can be rough on sensitive bits which is why I don't use them. Wet wipes tend to stay in one piece.

Hadn't thought about bulk buying wipes - I tend to buy baby wipes; is that what you buy from eBay? What do you type in the search function?

Now why didn't I think of that?? Great idea, thank you!
