Right! 15 minutes ~ as long as you give me a heads up is fine. 10:00 to 10:15 or whatever bc of traffic etc, but an hour? Hell no. HELL NO.

The few times I’ve been told that I’ve simply said that was fine, but if I had a chance to see someone in between 10 - 11, I wasn’t going to turn them down, since they weren’t able to pin📌down when they could get to me. Amazing how the original requester changed their tune.

I used to have a regular who arrived within a 15 minute window for years, he'd call me when around the corner. On top of the slight overrun I tend to accommodate this took up best part of 2 hours for a 1 hour appointment I had kept at previous/slightly lower rate.

I was very helpful when I moved/changed location and how I worked, when he could finally make it was late, did not read my detailed directions.........it just went from bad to worse with other hapless violations during which he asked 'surely you can trust me'.  ::) :FF

In hindsight I would have nipped it right in the bud at the start with the time keeping.
