Work has been dead with the agency; had only one booking on Monday night but then it's quite good in a way as still feeling a bit drained from tonsillitis 
 (finished my antibiotics for it)

However, today, I had the SD with no leg contact me saying "You've either lost my number or lost interest". I replied with I hadnt been well and then got a speel about keeping warm etc. Probably should have just left it at that, but then I said "I'm sorry, but what makes YOU think that YOU can set the rate? I am NOT settling for ?100 for a few hours, I'm better than that". He said to forget it, and I am glad 

I know it's what everyone said in the first place, but why should I settle for something I am not happy with? To see a cheapskate haggling person? Now, given that work has been dead recently, I could have gone, oh yes, let's meet up. But FINALLY, I have gone, NO. I'M the one in control here, I'M the one setting the rates, not some crusty old man who thinks he can get one over on me.

I cant wait to get my AW profile set up and start making my own money again, and no client will dictate to me! I even plan on having in the FAQ bit: "Is there a discount" Answer: "Absolutely not!"
