Carmel, the more " interesting" and detailed emails are usually the biggest time wasters of the lot.

The best advice I can give is to take all the emails with a pinch of salt and don't bend backwards to help someone out for more times than not they don't show, especially if they know you have gone to a lot of bother to fit them in, this can scream desperation to them and not as we see it as "helpful"

The copy and paste function is a great one when you have a huge number of emails to reply to, adjusting them here and there where applicable.

You have done right in your hotel booking re the cancellation bit but I hope it doesn't come to that.  What I would do in these circumstances is check what World Cup football games is being played that day and that may help to see when you may be busier with bookings.

Final word of advice, though it isn't really, remember, especially when talking to potential clients is "when a guys lips are moving, he could be lying", said tongue in cheek but does run true with a lot.
