I think instead of going across the vagina the way the hymen does, it wraps around the inside kinda like a tube shape and swells up to tighten it, then the friction bursts the package and the dye leaks out. Not 100% though it's not very clear.

My advise: I wouldn't put anything "down there" that has not been approved by the FDA... These  (sketchy) things bought over the internet nowadays are usually made in third world countries with no regulations. What if you get an allergic reaction? or an infection?
