Joey, if you're going to try and be condescending it helps an awful lot if you are in a position from which to condescend.
No one here is your 'dear' or your 'sweetheart' - either you've got yourself worked up into some ridiculous belief that you are suddenly some pithy, erudite tour-de-force or you've mistaken the forum for the Jerry Springer show; either way it stops now - disagreeing with others and expressing an opposing view is one thing, but if you want to indulge in this risible, queeny shrieking save it for the PMs, where you and your countryfolk can smugly pat yourselves on the back, sneer and perpetuate your apparent belief that none of us have any idea what we're talking about to your hearts content. As far as the board goes though, enough is enough.
I'm not getting into the rest of the preposterous crap and I suggest other ladies do likewise, much as the generations of human beings before us did when like me, Simone and everybody I know, they inexplicably managed to survive a few thousand years without ever seeing the inside of a gymnasium. Me, too. I'm a bit embarrassed for getting all grumpy earlier but being patronised makes me want to kick something. But there are no real hard feelings meant, and at the end of the day I've partly forgotten what the point of this thread is already so it's obviously not the be-all and end-all - hopefully we can all move on!

Once again, Amy cracks the whip (whippish!--your fangs are awfully sharp, when they come out...). Not that she's wrong in any circumstance. I'm just going to throw my 2 cents in, and get to being productive on this rainy day. I've lurked and/or participated in many threads on saafe and genuinely love you all. But I think etiquette (in any situation) is needed. Attitudes are easily felt online people. I repeat.

BECAUSE WERE ONLINE! We're tossing words out, forgetting tone isn't present, so an innocent sentence can be taken as the opposite.
Technically we are are all words apart, no matter how near or far we are. But the point of this forum is community. The occasional sass happens. Yes, of course. But as more of an onlooker I would have to say Joey it isn't fair to use the forum as a proverbial punching bag. Everyone is here to support you, and they don't even know you- aside from what tidbits you provide. Being obtuse isn't exactly the way to gain support. Or any thread replies!
The fact is -whether you like it or not- you do tend to utter conflicting statements on a regular basis. If you can live off your current income, no, you wouldn't be late on rent or have to think of ways to cut back. Being able to live off your income means you can support yourself and satisfy bills, and have some sort of expendable income (money to burn) as well as tuck a few dollars away. Thats the fact. Whether you like it or not. You can't say I don't understand what you're going through because I absolutely do. I'm American and know what comes along with that, and working here. I bounce between 2 completely different markets and one is incredibly hard to get clients to spend over $100-200 the other 200 is nothing to most, and 300-400 is doable, with the right practices. Simply stated, you wouldn't complain about not having it, if you had it.

on another note obesity like Emily said has MANY factors. Our government is ALOT to blame. As with most things is America, money rules all and the piece of shite FDA passes the most atrocious food products, knowing they lead to all forms of illness/disease, obesity and god only know what else. Now, being someone who has had to figure out ways to better survive in this fucktard of a world, one the things I can't give up is my organic eating. I try to eat at LEAST 75% clean, which cuts into my budget but you don't hear my bitching. Thats my choice. Sure itd be better to not spend however much at Whole Foods/Trader Joes, and hit up a $5 meal at Wendys or McDonalds but my health is essential and I make up for it by cutting down in other places. Like shopping
. Sigh.
Please realize J, if several people are saying the same things....maybe, just maybe they might be onto something. Open your mind up a wee bit.
