One of those programmes that gives a really gloomy slant on the profession.
Much preferred this weeks channel 5, 'Selling Sex' with the older Escorts featured.

I think he was extremely condescending. Look at how he looked at them, as if they were something in the bottom of his shoe.
The only time I agreed with his looks of disdain was regarding the older lady and her husband. I did think that whole set up was a bit sick.
But yeah, I get tired of the whole ‘they were abused as kids’ thing. I certainly wasn’t abused as a child. I decided to do this to make some money to fund a degree, plus I love the excitement of doing what I want and answering to no one.
I think sex work makes some people so uncomfortable that the only way to ease their cognitive dissonance is to tell themselves it’s only screwed up people who do it.

I don’t think he was looking down his nose at her, I think he was genuinely concerned about her imo.

BBC...no wonder I wouldn't spend more time on them except
checking the weather.  :)

The Keeler documentary was very good last night, does have relevance to prostitution also the dramatisation.

Didn’t like a the journalist/presenter always made references about how “vulnerable” these women are.  Constantly tried to pain the picture. It did piss me off, since I was more “troubled” and “vulnerable” in the civvy life and far more damage happened to me in the so called “normal” relationships. I was a victim and now I refuse to see myself as a victim. The guy constantly tried to paint the picture and tried to make it look as if we just need to be pitied.

Completely agree! He's good at observing without passing judgment.
