He did approach other women but they all declined to go further. Apparently letters were sent and if you go search you’ll find the responses but the BBC thought they were fault free. X

Yes, I spoke to the researcher for this one back in November and had a nice long chat, during which she tried desperately to get some kind of tale of misery from me about the awful stigma and terrible difficulties I face all the time because of my job. She was obviously unimpressed when I couldn't come up with any, because I didn't hear from them again .

I do have depression anxiety but it’s nothing to do with the job. I had the same while working in care but it annoys me that people think you have something wrong with you to do sex work.

I was invited to take part in the programme some time last year, but had to decline because they only wanted escorts willing to show their faces. I was pretty new to escorting, only a few months in at that point, and perhaps would've taken part if it was more anonymous - naturally I didn't want people I know recognising my face on telly, but the researcher said that that's the only option as it's Louis Theroux and that's he's style.

I have also seen a tweet by a participant who mentioned many hours of filming, compared to the actual time in the final production. I could also imagine time setting up, do they plan the filming, and also signing contracts? I was once in a restaurant being filmed for a TV production, everyone in our group (we'd genuinely booked for a special occasion, not for the filming - just wanted a nice meal and time together) had to sign contracts covering various things including secrecy, non-disclosure, consent to be on film. The film crew were in the background throughout the meal, it was interesting but I was a little perturbed and others may have different opinions.
