She sought damages against AW Systems Ltd for libel, harassment and misuse of private information.
Judgement was made in her favour after the defendant failed to enter an appearance.
It was the last bit that made me think her chances of getting the money aren't great.
Looking on Companies House, it's a company that a) isn't very big in terms of turnover, and b) claims to have ?1 in capital. Interestingly, someone wanted the company struck off the register of companies in 2010.
I would be surprised if the owners of AW didn't dissolve it for being insolvent and start another one to do whatever this one does in the mix of companies they use.
This is where it gets complex
AW Systems Ltd may not be related to AW SYSTEMS (UK) LIMITED registered with the UK companies house, although it may be owned by the same people, it is not responsible for the court action
The company the lady took to court we assume to be AW Systems International Ltd Suite 254 166 North Front Street Belize City, BZ Tel: 31.208908524
The current registered owner of the domain adultwork.com could be either AWS Affiliate World Systems Int' Ltd in Malta - who apparently took over 2 Mi??ion from their Cyprus account last March before the one time tax was imposed - http:// rt.com/news/cyprus-companies-withdraw-money-218 - or even Ubard Investments Ltd in Hon Kong
And I am assuming that neither of those companies were taken to court, so are not liable for the debt.
To continue trying to take further action will be pointless, time consuming and costly.
