I had a quiet night once and replied to a RB which was for a dinner date followed by 2 hours bedroom fun for ?200. I decided to go for it as it was local and at a nice hotel and I had no other bookings that night. Had a nice slap up meal and champagne, so it was better than sitting in and watching telly!
The client then wanted to book me again, but wanted an overnight for ?200 - he said that as he was paying for dinner, etc that he shouldn't have to pay me my overnight rate. He went on to say that he wasn't being cheap, that he drove a Bentley!!!
Why don't they realise they are paying for our time and it doesn't matter whether we are their dinner date or their bedroom companion.
I will sometimes reduce my hourly rate for dinner dates, but only if he is a decent client whose company I enjoy. But ?200 for an overnight is taking the P !!
