I agree, I wouldnt live anywhere else.  It has its ups and down but like Paris says it has so much back up for us.

To get back to prices of services, when I was in Bristol a few weeks ago, there was many females offering  ALL services for ?30 for half hour.  Students working their way through Uni but they make it harder for everyone else to make a living when they are charging these prices.

Yes I agree. Perhaps the services here are not always the best but at least they exist and can be used if necessary.

Regarding prices, Cripes I had no  idea people were charging that low? Sorry I don't mean that to sound offensive..... I  have a field report created that states my fees are higher than some and an idea bout making it more reasonable lol

I still get time wasters and their bookings and now i do deal with them slightly diferently.I inform them that if they havent called to say they are running late (15mins after  their scheduled time) ,  if their phone is switched off and they havnt text me then they are automatically cancelled. this informs them that you dont tolerate waiting around and they have opportunity to let you know. as genuine clients do communicate and arrive on time. hope that helps .Ruby x

Ruby, are you sure you've posted this in the right thread? I can't see what it has to do with the discussion at all - if it belongs somewhere else just say where it was meant for and I'll move it :).

There are plenty of places you can advertise without a website - Punternet for one, and also Adultwork (see separate board) which a lot of ladies use, although plenty manage fine without it. Have a look at this thread.

Working independently (as most ladies here do) does mean yu have more to think about - the reasons you employ an agency is so that they will (or should) handle all the day-to-day stuff that we all have to do ourselves; answering enquiries and taking bookings, sorting out promotion and advertising, arranging security and doing outcall checks etc etc, but it's well worth giving some thought if the agency aren't getting you much work, especially if you can do it alongside. There's nothing wrong with havingt limited availability provided you're clear about it, for example.

If you haven't already, have a read of the main site  :).
