Yep I know how you feel, I wasted Saturday sat around then today, Sunday,  hung around all morning, literally just got to the gym at 2pm and got a call from a guy wanting a booking within the hour.
I could have dashed back and done it but decided that if he couldn't be more organised and give more notice then I couldn't be bothered to change my plans.
It does demotivate me when it's quiet and often I switch off around 4/5pm if got nothing booked even though I'd normally work a few more hours if got bookings made in advance.

It's real shit and I hate being sat about for nothing , I used to have stuff planned cancel if someone rang or be in middle eating tea then some timewasting muppet  would ring me ,  I stop my plans ect only for them to not show , since then even if I really need money I refuse to not carry on what I'm doing for any of them unless it someone i had already seen before , if they  had sense to ring earlier the same day for whatever time I be getting ready but not now .

If nothing doing by 2pm I stop.

Most days get work though.

Yes no shows are the worst.

I work fixed hours and only take bookings by text, so I'm less confined to sitting in my flat as I can reply to them in more places since I don't have to talk to them.

I tend to just get on with things, but if it's got to 4-5ish and I've had enough I'll pack up early. I stop taking bookings at 6 anyway unless somebody has booked later that's when it's phone down, put the flat back together and go to the gym or whatever.

Once it gets to 5.30pm/6pm I am not going anywhere I either already have a booking, have had a booking, have personal or other commitments for the evening which could be painting my toenails (essential!), early to bed, time doing nothing. Phone doesn't go off as some people phone to make future bookings, I also may up until a certain point offer phone chat or a webcam booking.

When i get fed up, the phone gets switched off.
It varies. Sometimes I'm happy to sit with a book, chill and wait for a notification. Other days I'm off to get my make up washed off, PJs on and phone off.

I work in a similar way but even taking a call whilst out isn't the major issue if I'm just shopping etc, it's the fact that the majority want a booking at short notice and I hate rushing around, it puts me in totally the wrong frame of mind.
If they could give more notice it wouldn't be such a problem but I get very few guys who book the day before, even a cple of hours notice would be great.
So the last min.com brigade make me feel like I can't be arsed and I give up for the day.

It depends
If I’m on tour I will work till around 8pm

If I’m at home then it’s usually around 4pm

Oh, I get those too even though my site says one hours notice minimum; I can shave it down to half an hour or so if I'm in my flat and everything is set up in the room/bathroom, but I won't sit around in my work clothes. I've found that the ones who really want to see me will learn eventually when they've missed out enough times (I have three or four regulars who get a booking maybe one in five times they contact me. I think they're happy to just take their chances).

What does grind me down is the stupid texts and punters ignoring my ads and trying to call; I can be worn out by midday and wanting to sack off the whole afternoon if they've been really bad in the morning and I find it really hard to get motivated again.

I take appointments over email/Signal, so I don't really ever turn off/stop checking the comms. I generally don't bother with any requests after 8 pm, however. While the bulk of my jobs is in the late evening (I do outcalls), I'm firmly in the "hates rushing" group.

In days gone by I started late in the day around mid day and took bookings up till 11 pm but not now. Those were times when I very rarely had an evening without a booking. A complete new system works for me now and if I have a couple or maybe three bookings by 4pm that is all I want. My phone is kept on but I refuse anything at night no matter how they try to persuade me.
What bemuses me is when they text oh I only want a half hour and I can be there in 20 minutes. It takes me the same amount of time to prepare myself and my rooms whether it's a short or long booking and if I only had 20 mins to do it all I would be very stressed which doth not maketh  a good escort. 😏
