This was at 8am in the morning would you believe. I have always been so complacent when it gets past 6am.

A white man, with fair brown hair, early 20s turned up at the door and after saying hello to the ladies. He then asked the maid if he could go outside to the car and bring his mate in. She said ok. As he left, he started to ring his mate, but she could hear the other phone ringing outside the gate. We looked at the camera and saw that there were 2 black guys and another white guy who was really tall.

Luckily we have a "cage" so as we let the first guy out the first gate it was locked so so nobody could get back in. When she opened the main door via buzzer system, one of the black men came running in and it was obvious he was holding something under his coat. He stopped when he realised he would not be able to get inside. The maid said the girls had decided no to work. They left.

When l think of the amount of times we have left the doors open at 8 or 9 in the morning, just to run to the shop or to put bins out. All of us have known robbers to turn up in the afternnon, evening, or very early dark hours of the morning.

Sorry if I'm missing something here, but why do we need to know the race/skin colour of the men who did this?  If it's meant to help us identify them in future, surely we need more than just their skin colours to do that?  And if it's not for that reason, then isn't it pretty irrelevant?

I don't think you're missing anything particularly Mary, but I agree that a bit more detail would be helpful - it's reasonably common knowledge that there are one or more gangs robbing brothels in the South East, and any identifying information (more ages, height/build, accents) at all is better than none. However, if the OP could add to it in a concise and informative way, better still.

I have been unlucky enough to have been robbed at gunpoint a few times in the past all you want is for them to take the money and leave ,you don't really look at them (faces masked? ) so the only things you may notice is skin colour height ,body shape clothes and accents  so not a lot to go on  .The skin colour may help the police link the different cases together ie (1) two black guys with three white males    (2) five black males   (3) one asian two black guys one white etc  so the skin colour is important  ....................the last time (hopefully;-p) i was robbed at a flat one guy was caught and myself and the two other woman went to court he got a guilty and a few years inside the police,cps  and the judge were really nice to us.................our desciption' tall and asian ' he was seen running away
