I had a text saying accusing me of seeing someone underage and they demanded money to stop them going to the police.  Luckily I had saved the number and remembered the conversation I had - a guy asking for an escort for his 18th birthday.  I declined suspecting he was underage.

I told him it was going straight to the police at which point he claimed 'his friend' had texted (very convenient) and that it was a joke, and that I was taking it too far.  I said blackmailing was taking it too far and told him not to contact me again.
