Not sure if this is the right space for this (apologies admins if so!) but I wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at NUM (Rosalie in particular) for the help you provided and the ongoing support that has also been offered following a report I submitted this week and which is now on the alert list.

I (wrongly) expected a generic response, and the fact I received a personal reply made all the difference.  I had initially thought it wasn't worth reporting the incident, mainly through embarrassment for letting myself get into the situation, although through no fault of my own, but I am so glad I did.

I wanted to add this post to encourage others who may be hesitant to do so too, no matter how big or small an incident is, rather than assume we have to let it go or put up with something just because of the industry we are in.  My original report, which I logged as a timewaster has been upgraded to the harm category, and I now realise the impact it has had on me and could have for others, thanks to the team at NUM.  I hesitated because I wasn't sure which category to log it in or if it was important enough, but the main thing is just to log a report regardless, and the team will work with you to make sure all the information is captured and registered accordingly. And no, I don't work for them  :) I'm just very grateful for the support and resources they provide.
