Thanks, I've come to the conclusion it's someone within the trade, the nasty threats have also come just after a propective client got funny with me. H only ever secure bookings in person over the phone and he left it until within the final week - didn't call yest but emailed again to say he had made travel arrangements.

I don't know if I'm being over handed but I only ever take the first secured booking for a particular day - that means voice call. I offered him a different slot that would also fit in with his schedule -but he made it clear he wouldn't want me to drive so far so late. Funny since I've driven into the middle of Cumbria late at night no problems.

Perhaps I'm paranoid, perhaps not. I'm taking a break right now and will only be seeing regulars when I return.

I dont quite understand the bit about the client, but paranoia can get to us all sometimes, it comes with the nature of the job for those of us who are not fully open to all and sundry about what we do.

Girls should always take breaks when they need them so enjoy your time off and come back soon. x

Ruth, please don't let these idiots get to you when you have been ill - I am glad to hear that you reported this to then police. I live alone and would have been scared if I had got messages like that - it's easy to be a tough cookie on a message board, but they were really nasty and as Jessica said it is illegal to send threats like that online or anywhere else - whoever sent it needs to be tracked down. Shame on Vivastreet if they have done nothing - I pulled my ad from there just after ChrIstmas because all I ever got was timewasters and idiots; I know some ladies have got good business from it but I found it a complete waste of time. Keep us all posted x

Thanks for your support ladies. I'm pretty sure it is another lady trying to get me out of the area, or just jealous because I'm quite popular. I've had this sort of thing in the past. Both messages actually happened just after I'd told a guy that got funny over a first time booking - I never secure an initial booking without having spoken to the person first, we'd just exchanged a few emails.

Something similar happened last summer and I had threats to write to the neighbours.

It's all very odd.

Hello Ruth,

I am new here and joined recently because I was needing advice about an angry "wife" who had sent a couple of nasty texts and had also posted a letter to me copying in the other flats in my block revealing details of my AW account.  I called the police and have logged a complaint.  I know how unsettling this all is, but stay strong and hopefully they will get bored and finally go away.

Take care and all the best.
