I am just posting this as i found this a really weird booking.

I had a really strange guy in Reading tonight. He was booked in for 10pm, turned up at 9:50 early - so i gave him opposite room and told him to call me when he gets there. As he's talking on the phone i can hear the keytones, like he's texting someone, whilst he's on the phone, he sounded like he was on loudspeaker.

Now the hotel i'm in only takes 5 mins from the outside front door/ lobby to get to my room.

So  i get no calls/ texts, so i think he's a timewaster. Now at 10:20 he calls and says he's outside the room. So i check spy hole and see him on his own. So i open my door ( i'm opposite) and invite him in.

Now when he gets in, he says he wants 2 hours instead of 1hr. I tell him i have an appt at 11pm so can't do this and as he was so late i could do max 45 mins. He's not interested in me at all! He's having a good look round the room! Looking at everything, like the storage furniture, looking at my suitcase etc.Seemed completely disinterested in me, just more interested in looking round!

Then he says what if i come back at 12 after your booking. I say sorry but i think security is on the doors after 12 and i don't offer late bookings. I said i will have to come and get him after 12 as security only lets in residents with keycards (this is true).

So he says ok i'll try another time then.

I say sorry i'm going home early tomorrow as the storm weather is coming in and it's going to be chaos travelling conditions monday morning.So my boyfriend will be picking me up.  (put him off coming back sunday)

He was very polite in nature and didn't seem at all aggressive/ threatening in any way. I just though it was really odd that he books for 1 hr, then suddenly wants 2, is looking round the room and took over 30 mins to get to my room from outside reception area.

I was in really tall heels and towered over  him and i gave really confident body language, all my possessions are always hidden, my suitcase was visible but it has a lock on it and is heavy so doubt he'd try to take it.

I may be completely wrong - but my gut is telling me he had no intention of going through with the booking and was checking the room out for possible robbery! Seeing if i was a weak target!

Anyway the guy is British Asian, Reading accent - doesn't sound foreign at all,good English

Nice looking, mid to late 20s, stubble facial hair/ beard. (like a days old beard, only a little stubble)

Slim, dressed casual in trainers and jogging bottoms with cap on. Black sports jacket.

This guy just tried to book me in reading. Tried to book by text and then he called me, very polite but sounded forced to get the booking. Have cancelled after seeing this. Still using the same number.
