A few comments on here saying he is from Doncaster originally. For sure ‘ad a propa yorksha accent’ and the number matches x

My mistake I didn't look at the number, sorry he does stick in my mind I can even remember where I recieved his most recent calls a couple of years ago. Specifically what I was doing at the time. Has been phoning me for over 10 years but not for last 18-24 months.

He is still using the number posted in Dec 2020, but is now using the name Steve.

You can recognise his style by text because he.puts.dots.between.words instead of spaces in some parts (obviously using an old non-smartphone) and he repeatedly mentions his "luxury apartment in rural Derbyshire". If you'd never been to Clay Cross you might fall for this as on the map it does look quite nice but it's actually rougher than a badger's arse.

Are you absolutely sure it's the same bloke VC? I only ask because I have it on pretty good authority that the subject of the thread has been dead since 2020?

Well that's fine, although my phone does the full stops (fat fingers/small keys). The online obituary somebody sent me a link to way back when (same name/age/location and with photo, although I've thankfully never met the prick) must be for somebody else.

Unless he bequeathed his punting phone to a fellow timewaster/scammer
