Possible scam promotions agency
« on: 16 March 2011, 02:18:05 am »
I had a call earlier this evening which seemed pretty suspect to me.

A man who calls himself - Charles from 'A1 promotions' phoned with a business proposal for me.
He explains that his company organises corporate events & business trips for gentlemen across the UK and basically when these men are in a foreign city he can recommend restaurants, hotels & of course Escorts and would I be interested in having my name put forward to these discerning gentlemen. (With no fees or commission involved at all)
I said 'Yes' of course, any extra business for free seemed like a bonus.
He then goes on to explains that he must ensure all his clients receive the best possible service, for example he wouldn't recommend a restaurant without eating there first. (can you see where this is going)
So he wants to meet me next week for an interview & a possible 'free' tester session. He claims that he must see me naked to insure I have no stretch marks, scars or tatoos, & if possible could I perform a sexual act on him to prove I was up to scratch! (As I'm writing this it seems even more blatantly obvious)
But he does sound very plausible & professional & has an answer for everything. Even asked if I had any questions at the end.
I asked if there was any other escorts that had already joined his scheme & whether I could talk to one, he said that it was unlikely as they may become jealous that he was recruiting new girls & wouldnt want to talk to me.
I also asked if I researched his company would I find anything on web. He said no as it is a very discreet service so not advertised as it would get his clients into trouble.

Anyways I am very new to the independant scene & I think that's why he's trying this on me.
I'm definately not going to meet this guy but I was too polite to say so on the phone & told him to call me back closer to the date.
Has anyone heard of this guy or something similiar??
And what should I say to him when he calls back? Or should I just ignore him?

PS. I'm in the East Midlands area & I think he found me on Punterlink. But he mentioned he was from Buckinghamshire.
 His phone no. 078330474**
Thanks. A

As soon as anyone mention "a physical interview" laugh at them then then put the phone down.

If anyone contacted me like that before it even got to that stage I would be asking for things like website/where do they advertise etc When they come back with nonsense like "word of mouth"...I'm already laughing  :D

You did do the right thing by asking if you could speak to other girls who work for him.

You said your new to the Indy scene, let me assure you that the majority of these sort of things will eventually become so familiar you'll spot them a mile off lol ;)

Thanks Friday.

It's funny when he was talking I had this little voice in my head warning me this seemed dodgy but I was still so polite to him. I should have just told him to get lost.

As soon as I had like 10 seconds to think over what he'd actually said I knew he was a blagger.
If he calls back I'm definately not gonna be so friendly.

I think going independent is definately making me more hard nosed & less gullable.
Maybe thats a good thing, I can be a bit too soft sometimes.

Never ignore that "spidey sense", it's there for a reason.  :)

That guy has been doing the rounds for quite a while, he phoned me and I told him to go forth and
have sex.  ;D

This is why the buddy system is invaluable, these f**kwits keep their eyes open for newbies who
may fall for it.  >:(
