possible scam agency south west
« on: 08 May 2009, 12:17:08 am »
this email on the bottom I got a couple of day's ago .
so far i've learned that no agency needs your personal details as it's illegal to run an agency  (they get away with time and companionship only, not selling sex)  I don't think they can be part of the paying tax society, so what do they need your information for?
and a contract for high level of hygene and attractiveness? never heard of that before, what are they gonna do? send a lawyer on your back specialized in nail polish?
Also there is no website yet and they don't give a name so there is no way to see who they are or find them when you need them. better to stay away from this one, read and weep!

We are launching a new high class escort agency. We are very excited and hope you will be too! The website is currently under construction and should be ready in just over two weeks, it?s going to be gorgeous.

Operating across the South of England, we are currently looking to recruit a maximum of 30 of the most sensual, attractive girls within this area. With only 1 or 2 girls registered with the agency in any major town, you will be guaranteed a high level of business within your area together with a high level of income to match. We intend offering both in and out calls depending on the selected girls? preference, drivers being provided for all outcalls.

We also offer a progressive agency fee structure whereby this reduces dependant on the number of bookings per week and the length of time you remain with the agency.

WE DO NOT CHARGE OUR ESCORTS A FEE TO JOIN ? all that we ask is that you attend an interview, provide us with your personal details and that you sign a contract which outlines the high standards that we expect all our girls to adhere to at all times.

If you may be interested in joining what is sure to be an exciting venture that can offer you income and security then please get in touch with us

Thanks for taking the time to read this mail

Regards

Anna

A contract! That's a laugh given that running an agency is illegal anyway. If it were me because they don't charge a fee I would almost be tempted to go along out of curiosity, give them fake personal details and maybe even sign the contract given that it's completely unenforceable. You never know it might be fun...

For the record, anyone who tries to run a "time and companionship" disclaimer doesn't understand how the law works; they won't hold up 10 seconds in court....
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

They can pay tax and be pretty legitimate even while doing something illegal, but they don't need your details for that. As was mentioned in the other thread, you'd be a contractor, not an employee.

The numbers they're giving are nonsense. If they only have one or two escorts registered in each major town, they'll generally only have zero or one escorts available in that town during a particular moment. If a punter calls and isn't given a choice of escorts or is told that there isn't even one available, that doesn't make for a good agency.

I'm guessing that the progressive fee structure is the key to the scam. Maybe you have to hand over the full fee from your first booking.
